It's all been said already here, but this is a great place to stay if you are looking for an artistic, verdant, and tranquil rest in Ouaga. I have stayed here many times over several years and it does not disappoint. The garden is fabulous, the decor extremely well done, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Well situated in... More

As far as accommodations go in Ouagadougou, this place is as good as it gets. It's away from the downtown area and offers a temporary escape from the heat, noise, and general unpleasantness of this very poor country. The rooms have air conditioning and are quite charming. They're also equipped with mosquito nets, another plus. Unless you are in Ouagadougou... More

We stopped off here for lunch on the way to the airport. It is a lovely peaceful and relaxed place. The garden is simply beautiful with a range of planting and sculptures. The menu had a delicious range of pizza.

The room was great - clean and well-working. The grounds are lovely and relaxing, a real oasis. And you're close enough to a main road to catch taxis. My husband and I spent two nights here after a three-week trip around Burkina, and it was the perfect place to rest and pamper ourselves. We enjoy exploring cities by foot, which... More

Walking into Karite Bleu, you just know that you will have a lovely, quiet, and relaxing time. The garden was lovely (just bring bug spray) and the service was very pleasant. We stayed in the Peuhl room-- beautiful, spacious enough for us, and has a lot of character. We used the jacuzzi and just lazed around the courtyard watching our... More

My husband and I stayed at Le Karite Bleu with our teen-aged daughter for two nights. It is a lovely, safe, clean and quiet place in the middle of a chaotic city. The staff is helpful, and even allowed us to return to the hotel to shower before our late night flight. The rooms have lots of character and are... More

I stayed here in 2013 on three separate occasions (and in different rooms). Each room has a unique feel to it and the decor is themed after a particular tribe (if I remember correctly I stayed in the Peule room, the Touareg room and one more). All rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds, good showers and airconditioning, which is... More
