Where else can you sit on your porch and see wild animals come to a water hole right in front of you. It was just incredible to watch the animals come out of the bush - elephants, giraffes, Impala and baboons to name a few. The resort is small and intimate with individual, luxury cabins. Each cabin has a separate... More

The Stanley and Livingston was an exceptional place to start our African Safari adventure! The bungalows had a spacious sitting room, a large bedroom, a private veranda and a nice bathroom. The shower was small and the water pressure was weak. The meals and the breakfast buffet were very good. The dining patio and the bungalows all looked out on... More

Located in Zimbabwe side of the Victoria falls. We were a little worried about it. BUT when we got here, this private reserve is beautiful, private and nicely designed. The villas were large and spacious. The service and the food was excellent. Plus they have their own 2400 hectare safari.

We spent 3 nights here on our tour of Africa and loved it. Lodgings, staff, meals, game drives, and setting were just amazing! A sunset dinner cruise above Victoria Falls is another must do. Go if you get the chance is my advice.

Our group stayed at The Stanley & Livingstone for three nights. It's a beautiful Victorian resort with suite accommodations just 15 minutes from Vic Falls. The main lodge is warm and welcoming with beautiful views of the valley and watering holes. Our family was lucky to get suites 7/8 which are next to the lodge and have great views off... More

This hotel is one of colonial elegance. A lovely patio leads on to a manicured garden which leads on to the Stanley and Livingstone Private Game Reserve. The hotel is just off the road leading in from the airport and so positioned between the airport and the falls. The advantage is that there are shuttles into the town 20 minutes... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the Stanley and Livingstone. This is an unashamedly colonial lodge (rivalling only Victoria Falls Lodge for period ambience). So it is a bit of a marmite experience - You'll either love it or you'll hate it. Personally I like a bit of the old colonial myself! I was expecting it to be dated and tired... More

What a wonderful place, with a wonderful crew and outstanding service. I almost felt guilty walking over the perfect polished wooden floors. The place breaths the old Victorian wealth ... having breakfast with an astonishing view over the open area where giraffes and all sort of antilopes come for a morning drink. Having a sunset game-drive with a bush-dinner to... More
