The falls were an absolute highlight of our trip and highly recommended. Elephant Camp is a wonderful facility with very good accommodation coupled with excellent food and beverages.
Exposure to elephants and the opportunity to hand feed them was exhilarating to say the least. But...More

We had our family of 12 spend 2 nights in 6 tents at the Elephant camp and it was a wonderful experience. The tents were luxury with separate tub/shower inside with bed and a lounging area. There was a deck with a small pool and...More

You will have a truly unforgettable experience at the Elephant Camp. It is a few kms out of Victoria Falls but you can see the spray rising from it when it is in full flood from the decking of your tent (well, it is a tent but also a luxurious room). The staff and customer service are second to none except maybe Varty Camp at Londolozi in the Kruger which is another of our absolute African favourites. We were originally meant to go in November but our travelling companions became first time grandparents then so we delayed to April. I believe the Vic Falls are not in full flow in November but will nevertheless be a wonderful sight. Enjoy - you will love it. Janet

Due to the nature of accommodation this would appear to be right. If you look on Google images you will see that there is no option of splitting the sleeping area up, and I don't think they have large family tents. Not a cheap option but I think you guys are going to need 2 separate tents. One thing for sure, my wife and I were bowled over by the visit and would dearly love to go back one day. The highlight is definitely Sylvester - he is a real dude!
Happy travels to the family Christi.

Hi if it helps, we went on the Chobe Princess for a 3 day river safari which was wonderful. There are only 10 cabins and the staff are brilliant. The food was excellent too if you are on Chobe Princess 1 with Robert and Jane. We went twice a day in a small tender to do a safari boat trip and it was excellent, completely different from land safaris but we did see loads of elephants, two lions stalking impala, loads giraffes, buffalo, baboons and, of course, hippos and crocs. The bird life was also exceptional. It was a different type of safari and we loved it.
