Experienced a one night stay at this quaint lodge! I was on my way to Vic Falls. Was picked up and returned to the airport the next day. The stay was very comfortable and was also served an excellent dinner (minimal cost) and a complementary English breakfast. The grounds were very pretty and there was a bar in the garden, which was a great surprise!

Costa and Chris were the ultimate hosts in ensuring my safety and comfort in clean peaceful and pretty surroundings throughout my four night stay. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious.They both went beyond their call of duty for which I am grateful and inspired . I inadvertently forgot my cellphone when I departed and Costa arrived at the airport with it . After an announcement over the intercom the emigration officer allowed me to return back through the airport to meet with Costa so that he could personally hand me my cellphone without which I would have been unable to proceed when arriving at my destination airport! I do not know if that could have been accomplished anywhere else in the world.
It is indeed rare to find such dedication, honesty and caring. Thank you Costa and Chris. I look forward to seeing you in the New Year. God bless .

Stayed one night here en-route to Vic Falls and highly recommend this place! Pick up arranged from the Airport and back the next day was smooth and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained and the accommodation very nice. For the price you won’t get a better deal and this certainly is a place I’d visit again and again. Choice of dinner ( at a minimal cost ) and a full English breakfast ( complimentary) was provided. A great way to start or end your Zimbabwe holiday!

A lovely experience! Godfrey and Chris, brilliant! They took such good care of us, the precooked meals we bought on site were absolutely delicious! Godfrey is not only a fantastic host but also a great cook! You really have no need to bring anything, the fridge and honesty bar were so well stocked. The cable tv has a large variety of channels. The power back up is so good we didn’t even realise there’d been a power cut. The garden is stunning and full of gorgeous sunbirds! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have had a great time in Zimbabwe. Ant and his team were very helpful and competent, everything was organized well and so we could quietly enjoy our stay. We also were greatful for the flexibility and the accommodating atmosphere, we could really feel at home. Zimbabwe is a beautiful destination and we could, despite heavy econimical problems for Zimbabwean people, experience many friendly and cordial contacts.

We would definitely recommend Sunbird Guest House as a great place to stay. It's in a safe and quiet location and the entire guest house was very comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask for. We really enjoyed having access to the veranda and pool. Chris was an absolute star, making us feel welcome and at home. He cooked us wonderful breakfasts and was so helpful. Thanks to Ant, Chris, and team for having us.

My husband and I only have nice things to say about Sunbird! As we landed in Harare, later than expected, Costa was there waiting to pick us up and bring us to the lodge. The staff was very hospitable and even though it was late, they cooked us a lovely dinner! The atmosphere and ambiance of not only our room, but also the rest of the house left us feeling right at home.
We highly recommend them to anyone who is needing a clean, safe, and relaxing accommodation!!

I enjoyed my stay at Sunbird guesthouse! The place was clean, well decorated, and felt very homey with a fully equipped kitchen and living room area. The room was spacious and comfortable. As a solo traveler, I liked that the house was located in a safe neighborhood and everything felt very secure. The staff, Godfrey. Chris, and Costa, were very friendly and helpful. They made the stay even better !

The guest house associated with Ant Bown’s Manapools tourism services could not be more homey and comfortable. We stayed in the cottage, which is extremely roomy and was spotless. We also appreciated the reliable hot water, Internet, and electric power, as well as the lovely garden. Best of all is the extraordinarily high level of service provided by Ant and his crew.

A group of friends and I checked in for a night to celebrate a birthday. We'd spent the afternoon at a spa and wanted to relax for the evening. The team (Costa, Chris and Godfrey) saw to all our needs professionally. We provided the ingredients and they did the braai (barbecue) for us to perfection. Even though there was another braai in the same garden, there were no clashes and both parties had a wonderful time.
The guest house is super clean, has modern furnishings and is in a quiet location. Even though we all live in Harare, we vowed to come back in the not too distant future!

In our Studio Apartments, we can usually put down camping matresses for children, unfortunately, all our Studio Apartment units are booked for that period. The best we can currently do would be 2 adjacent en-suite rooms in a main unit. can that work for you ?
