The stay was very comfortable and was also served an excellent dinner (minimal cost) and a complementary English breakfast. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious.They both went beyond their call of duty for which I am grateful and inspired . I inadvertently forgot my cellphone when I departed and Costa arrived at the airport with it . After an announcement over the intercom the emigration officer allowed me to return back through the airport to meet with Costa so that he could personally hand me my cellphone without which I would have been unable to proceed when arriving at my destination airport! I do not know if that could have been accomplished anywhere else in the world. It is indeed rare to find such dedication, honesty and caring. Thank you Costa and Chris. Pick up arranged from the Airport and back the next day was smooth and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained and the accommodation very nice. For the price you won’t get a better deal and this certainly is a place I’d visit again and again. Choice of dinner ( at a minimal cost ) and a full English breakfast ( complimentary) was provided. We have had a great time in Zimbabwe. Ant and his team were very helpful and competent, everything was organized well and so we could quietly enjoy our stay. We also were greatful for the flexibility and the accommodating atmosphere, we could really feel at home. Zimbabwe is a beautiful destination and we could, despite heavy econimical problems for Zimbabwean people, experience many friendly and cordial contacts. We highly recommend Manapools com and a trip to Zimbabwe! "Tatenda!" to Ant and his team!

A great place to stay in a nice suburb of Harare. We have stayed at Sunbird several times and it never disappoints. The accommodation is very comfortable and set in well maintained gardens. The staff are all great. We have no hesitation in recommending Sunbird and will continue to stay there each time we visit Harare. We love sadza! 😁

We stayed for eight nights over Christmas on a B&B basis. Zimbabwe suffers from rolling black outs, whilst power is lost, there is a back up invertor to help out. The whole team are very friendly. The strangest thing to be aware of is that the bathroom doesn't have a ceiling and any sound is reverberated around the apartment (when you take anti malarial tablets for a trip to Victoria Falls, then your stomach is upset by the medication before you get any Imodium tablets to settle your stomach!). The pool and surrounding area is very nice, the complementary Wi-Fi covers all areas of the premises and the guesthouse is in an gated community for safety.

We would definitely recommend Sunbird Guest House as a great place to stay. It's in a safe and quiet location and the entire guest house was very comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask for. We really enjoyed having access to the veranda and pool. Chris was an absolute star, making us feel welcome and at home. He cooked us wonderful breakfasts and was so helpful. Thanks to Ant, Chris, and team for having us.

Only had one night stay, we found the place very comfortable, clean very homely. The neighbourhood is also very safe. The selection of books in the lounge area was a highlight of our stay as we we found them very informative. Well stocked fridge. Thanks Anthony for hosting us. By the way.. are you the one who did the art on the walls?. Loved the pieces.

As a Zimbabwean working abroad, Sunbird is my choice place to stay when I visit. Chris is unflagging in his friendliness, and once you book, Sunbird will contact you and stay in touch...very comforting:-). The main house has this unique commune- like self catering that is one of a kind...if you get there late there is always something in the fridge/pantry for a quick meal. When you depart you leave your unused foodstuff for other guests to come...the only place that does that...I know, I have been around. Wifi is always on point and place is clean and quiet. Ask if the studio is available!!!

I only stayed at SunBird for one night, but I had everything I needed! Chris was so helpful and cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast for me. The guest house room was really well furnished and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was super clean and there is a lovely pool and garden outside the other side of the main house. Overall, definitely recommend if your planning on staying in Harare!
