A lot of locals sleep in Karim, which is mostly a sign that you get the price will be low for a reasonable stay. There was free WiFi, and a very basic room, with helpful staff. Great accomodation for backpackers looking for a cheap place to stay. Cost us about 9€ for a night if I remember correctly (downseason).

Hotel Residence Karim is a reasonable budget choice in Tozeur. The rooms and courtyard are pleasantly tiled, attractive and bright. Look at a few rooms before choosing one as the forth room we looked at was much better (bigger, birghter) than the first three. The shower worked very well with good water pressure and hot water. There is a fair...

Of all of the budget hotels we stayed in in Tunisia, this is the one that we enjoyed most. The hotel was beautifully decorated, and was located just across from the palmerie, and a 10 minute walk to the medina. There is also a bike rental next door, which was fab! Above all else, the host was really welcoming, friendly,...

Equivalent of £6 each for a double room per night. Basic spartan rooms, reasonably clean. A few random wires hanging out the walls. Air con not working in any rooms and it was a VERY hot humid night, had to lie on top of bed with wet towel on me to cool down, finally stopped sweating at 3am and slept....

This is a budget place to stay, very well located opposite the 'Palmerie' and on the main road that leads to the medina. The hotel itself is pretty inside due to the colourful tiling along the floors and walls. We were given a 'family room' accomodating four. It had a double and two single beds in a teeny weeny room...

The best thing about the hotel was the beautifully tiled and planted premises, including the central courtyard and comfy balcony. Rivalling this was the fact that the manager's son, Hamid, could speak nearly perfect english, and was very friendly. Parking was out on the street, and in a questionable location, though nothing bad happened. The rooms are not the best,...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night and found it perfectly pleasant and very adequate for the budget traveler. Our room cost around $20/night, and you get what you pay for... do NOTexpect frills here. It's a simple place. It's located on the main drag in Tozeur, half way between the tourist/museum zone and the old city so...
