We stayed here for two nights whilst we visited star wars locations. Great WiFi and television, perfect for re-watching the Star Wars trilogy! Comfortable room with good AC. Great value for money, possibly one of the cheapest rooms we stayed at in Tunis, and better quality that most of the others. Negatives: The remotes for the AC were all a... More

I have been to the Residence El Arich last month. It is not a hotel but a residence for people to stay in for a couple of days. The rooms are comfortable enough with air conditioning and enough place for the kids. There is a reserved paking for the residence guests. Rooms come with an excellent breakfast service. The residence... More

Our guide book suggested this hotel and the reviews seemed okay so I emailed and booked this hotel. We drove down from Hammamet and arrived in the early afternoon. The gentleman at reception was very helpful and showed us two rooms from which we could choose - we chose the downstairs option. It was spacious, sparsely furnished (but with a... More

Lovely surprize. Clean and comfortable rooms, air-conditioning and a view to envy. Croissant, gem, yoghurt and coffee for breakfast was delicious and filling. Wi-fi only close to reception. I enjoyed my two night stay there and will book there again next time.

I booked a room here for my wife and I to relax in after taking the eight hour train trip from Tunis. The Lonely Planet recommend it and it even has the Trip Adviser stickers on the door. It's now nearly 11pm and we still have neither hot water or Air Conditioning. What we do have, is a procession of... More

We stayed three nights at el Arich and thought it was excellent value at 45 dinar for a spacious double room in the new building, Room 26, on the first floor. Everything was nice and new, and very clean. The decor was pleasing with high gloss floor tiles, attractive new duvet and quality curtains. Double glazed windows and cooling floor... More

While we live in Sousse for a few months we wanted to visit also the south of Tunisia. We tried to book a few hotels in Tozeur but or they didn't react on our mails or they on line booking didn't work. Of the Residence El Arich we got an answer by mail immediate. So we arranged our booking for... More

The hotel is generally good value. We had a very nice room on the third floor overlooking the palm trees. It is worth the 40 dinar per night. They could add value by getting rid of the dirty carpets in the rooms. Get nice ones and hang them on the wall. No reason to have carpets on the floor. They... More

We arrived at Residence El Arich a day earlier than we had booked, but this was no problem. There were obviously not many guests, as we were given a number of keys to see which room we wanted. The last one, on the second floor, was by far the best, almost a suite, with a little hallway and separate doors... More
