My friends and I made a reservation for brunch on Saturday, November 7th for 4 people. First they seated us on a tiny table when there was plenty of space elsewhere and didn’t let us move. Next, after taking forever to take our order they took over an hour to bring our croissants and eggs Benedict’s (without coffee) and it was all cold. After waiting for 1h30mins for the coffee to arrive we finally got up and left. The service and attitude of the waiters were abismal and so disrespectful, I left upset and hungry. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST, it is not worth your time, money or energy!
It was a pleasant visit to the Villa Didon Carthage Hotel in Tunisia, and the hotel was wonderful and comfortable surrounded by stunning views, tranquility and sophistication pervading the place, especially the spa,so I met Mrs racheda manager of the spa I found her very wonderful and doing her job smilling this lady make the place the best where rest and recreation. And I surely doing this experience every visit to tunisia . Best regards Mahmud
I am not sure if there is one thing I liked there. I visited several times with friends, husband and family. The energy of the place is one of the worst in Tunis and we always felt weird there. We like fancy as well as local places as long as they are welcoming, positive and just vibrating happiness. Not the place to go then! The food is okish, the view excellent and the service terrible! It is also stiff and the staff lies to your face. For example, we went there at 11:40am and the staff said the brunch ends at 12 so they do not serve anymore. After me insisting several times they promised to check with the chef and they waited 20 more min until 12pm to come back and say the brunch is finished. Typical !!! Enormous prices for similar places in Tunisia and it is a rip off!
We went there for 3 days, amazing view, amazing room, amazing spa! Very kindbstaff at the bar and restourant. Beautiful hammam(with saida and wafa) and great massage (amira and racha) We’ll come back! Maria
I'm visiting Tunisia every month and my Fiancé always arranges new attractions for me in Tunis and around. This time he invited me to Villa Didon for a lunch since I wanted to check the SPA and recognize the place for our future weekend escape. As soon as we entered I instantly noticed three unpleasant ladies at the reception desk busy in their discussion and almost angry that we dared to interrupt. You should see their faces - such unwelcoming view! Every receptionist is a business card of a hotel. This has been clearly forgotten here. Since we were told the restaurant is closed (Sic!) we have decided to at least have a coffee. I have seen some people having drinks in the restaurant and my Fiancé asked if we could seet there by the window. In an unpolite way we were refused. We sat on a couch next to the bar, but the sits were used and destroyed and eventually we have decided to leave this unpleasant and unwelcoming place. To all the guests who consider staying in Tunis: consider Mövenpick, Concorde or Dar El Jeld, or even go to Hammamet that is just an hour drive away to the brilliant La Badira Hotel which is my absolutely favourite place in Tunisia with superb service, design and location. Do not even bother to stop by Villa Didon.…
