We stayed for 2 nights at the luxurious tents set in one of the best wild locations we have ever been to. A lot of care for guests with washing stations, sanitizers and masks is fantastic. Staff were especially nice making sure we were comfortable and had everything. Bush TV from our tent is unforgettable- Glorious sunsets with Serengeti beer!
We recently stayed again at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp for 3 nights, the camp was not as busy as the last time we stayed there but I guess this is a good thing in the pandemic. They have taken excellent measures to protect the guests, sanitizing the common areas, free masks and social distancing of guests in the main dining area. The food served was absolutely incredible – a mix of African and Indian cuisines. The tent room is absolutely relaxing, with cool breeze blowing through the open side netting that also kept bugs away. The staff were extremely friendly and caring. They kept asking what we wanted and small chit chat about what we had seen and what we liked. We really felt welcomed and as if we were at home!
When we arrived at the Camp after a long drive from Ngorongoro the staffs were there to welcome us and show us to our tent. Later in the evening they sent two Masai guys to take us to a lovely table in the restaurant. They were interested in what we liked, little chit chat about our experience on the game drives making us very comfortable. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety to choose from the buffet. Our tent had fabulous views of the Serengeti and we definitely liked it here.
This was our second stay at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp which is one our best camping experience in Africa. The camp staff spare nothing to give guests a special safari camping experience. The tent rooms are well maintained, clean, comfortable and relaxing after a long day of game drives in the Serengeti, we came back to great food and authentic outdoor ambience under the clear African jungle skies. Staff set up a daily camp fire where we sat around with our beers pushing the hours deep into the night. There are Maasai guards to escort us to our tent and back. You can hear the sound of wild animals not far from the tent, on the third night I am sure it was a lion roar! It was a marvelous stay again!
We stayed in Serengeti Wildebeest Camp located inside the Serengeti National Park and it is the real deal. You can hear different animals at night and we also a herd with wildebeest, zebras and antelopes grazing very close to the camp. The tents are really comfortable and nice to sleep in, perfectly located because it is set close to where the big herds were. The food served was excellent as the chef took care of our dietary restrictions, staff were very attentive too. Highly recommended for authentic Serengeti camping
