Singita Sasakwa provided a complete safari experience for all senses. The accommodations are beautiful and carefully considered. Our guide made each game drive unique and special with her expertise & knowledge. The staff made us feel welcome and special through each encounter and attention to detail. This was by far the most incredible travel experience we have ever had. It... More

Pictures never do this place justice; having tried to take many pictures, none of them ever comes close to the breath catching and awe-inspiring views that you will be faced with once you step on the property. We stayed for 6 nights with family and there were 21 of us. With such a large group, I had my doubts that... More

Having traveled all over the world, this beautiful hotel ranks among the finest. The views from above the Serengeti are awe-inspiring, particularly during Migration. The grounds are lush, beautiful, and well manicured. The lodge, decorated in British Colonial style, is lovingly adorned with fine antiques, original artwork, and numerous details that offer the appearance of a private estate. Each cottage... More

This is the most wonderful resort. The decor is British Colonial with beautiful rooms, bathrooms, modern conveniences and a staff that can't be beat. We were lucky to have Medison as our fabulous guide for three days here and another three days at Faru Faru another Singita lodge. We saw such marvelous sites and animals with Medison who is such... I reviewed Sasakwa in 2012 and 4 years on, you might expect that she would still looking tired around the edges. Not a bit of it. Unlike other lodges, this looks like an opulent home in Africa - they do exist - and of course this is home to the owner for periods of the year. The homeliness makes it... More

The view from Sasakwa sitting high above the Serengeti is amazing. It's a beautiful hotel with excellent service, food and hospitality. There's nothing they won't do for you. Our cottage was lovely with a small pool and monkeys in the backyard. The bar area is a beautiful large living room where we would have drinks after coming in from the... More

What a place. If you like luxury, get food, amazing accommodations and don't mind to pay for 5 star service and accommodations in the middle of the Serengeti. This is the place for you. You get a whole house with a private pool where we had monkeys drinking out of it! Great game reserve. Loved our guide and and amazing... More

After our three nights at Singita's Sabora Camp we thought nothing could equal that amazing Grumeti safari experience. But after three nights at Sasakwa we have found its match & it so deserves its 2012 award for best Hotel in the world! Once again Singita knows how to pamper their guests, but the lodge and rooms go even further to... More

We are so saddened to hear that your experience at Singita Sasakwa Lodge was not satisfactory and your comments have truly embarrassed us, and rightly so. We have already addressed this with the Sasakwa Management, and they are devastated that not nearly enough was done to meet your really simple expectations. The Chef will be in touch with you shortly... More

What more can be added to the other reviews and accolades? Lucky enough to have a night here as we were moving across Africa. Staff, accommodation, security (First Class), ambience, authenticity, game, food, attention to detail - all faultless. I live in Africa and am sensitive to the environment, and despite the luxury these guys really care...
