A quiet and peaceful tented lodge in a very scenic location. The tent accommodations were great, wonderful shower with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful personnel made my stay very enjoyable. You are one with nature and at night, one could hear animals. Security at the tented lodge made us feel very sage after dark. I enjoyed my stay and would come back again the next time I visit.

Mbuzi Mawe is set in a picturesque location in the stunning Serengeti. We spent two nights here and were impressed with the luxurious permanent tents, affording us much comfort. It was a real thrill to be staying amongst the wildlife as there are no fences. Enjoy the natural setting and possibly hearing some animals at night! There are plenty of Security staff on-hand to walk you to/from your tent. Remember to keep your tent zipped up at all times to prevent any unwanted wildlife visitors! Security safes are located at Reception for your valueables. Our tent had two double beds, allowing us to both stretch out if we wanted to, and the shower was fantastic after a long day out on safari. Plenty of very hot water! We appreciated being able to have our laundry done with a 'same day' service. The Food and Beverage service is excellent, whether you're sipping a pre-dinner drink at the Bar, or ordering from the a la carte menu (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The meals we chose were delicious. Our only suggestion is the option for a mattress topper as the beds are quite firm. We heard that a pool is going to be constructed in the future, which would be very welcome in the heat! We recommend Mbuzi Mawe and would stay here again.

This is a permanent camp. This means that you have tends but also some parts made of stones, like a normal buildings. Tends are big, you have hot water, electricity and Wi-Fi connection. The food is also great. You are always surrounded by nature and animals
