Outstanding staff and service; outstanding, varied and plentiful food; and, comfortable immaculate accommodations. Do not be misled by the designation of mobile tent camp. All staff were exceedingly welcoming, highly attentive, and willing to accommodate special requests. They continuously inquired whether there was anything beyond what they were already doing that would enhance our stay. They were flexible in accommodating our schedule for game drives, meals, and showers, inquiring daily about our preferences. The camp manager, Frank Mbise, said that their goal was for every client to have a 100% positive experience . They exceeded beyond any of our expectations. They have set such a high standard that it will be difficult for other camps to equal them. The chef, Godwin Simba, prepared delicious regular and gluten free meals. Portions were so large that we had to request smaller amounts. We have encouraged the chef to write a cookbook. There were so many of his recipes, that we wanted. He generously shared numerous of his recipes with us. Twice the kitchen staff surprised us with first a bush breakfast and next a bush lunch in scenic settings. They also were willing to pack breakfast or lunch for game drives to allow us to leave early or extend our time out. They were full course meals complete with tablecloths, cloth napkins and silverware. All meal were formally and elegantly served. A nice added feature was that the camp had WIFI . I highly recommend a stay here.

Wow! Absolute luxury & peace in the middle of the Serengeti near the Mara river to view the crossing. We were greeted by warm staff and given a tour of the tented camp. We stayed in a room with a gorgeous view, hot water showers, king bed, and simple yet beautiful decor. There is a 24-hour security, making you feel safe at all times. We had a delicious, healthy dinner in a quaint dining room. The best part was the warm and helpful staff. They have found a way of hiring great employees and we would love to visit sometime again. Very romantic spot if you are looking for a couples get-away! We did not fly in, but there is a nearby, small airport if you wish to do so.

I never imagined my safari experience would feel like 5-star resort quality food and hospitality but that’s exactly what Chaka Camp provides! First I just have to say how impressed I was by our tent apartment. The bed was just like any Hilton or Ritz we’ve stayed at. I loved the bathroom with the beautiful wood suspended shelves for our clothes, hot showers and a standard American toilet was truly a welcome surprise! Oh and both shampoo and conditioner! And having coffee and cookies brought to us every morning was absolutely delightful! As soon as we arrived off the plane our expert guide, Godson, warmly greeted us with spread of refreshments as he welcomed us to The Serengeti. As we ate we experienced 1,000,000 wildebeest charging through the airport! We followed them and witnessed the most incredible river crossing! From there Godson took us through the park pointing out animals left and right that I didn’t even know were there! I had no idea there were that many species of antelope. After each day on Safari we went back to the camp where we were offered hot towels and showers, then came dinner. I couldn’t believe the cuisine! Slow-roasted pork melting in my mouth, expertly flame-kissed vegetables, pancakes and soft-scrambled eggs just like home, coffee and cookies I’d find in an artisan cafe, and fruit so perfectly ripe and sweet. I also learned some Swahili and so enjoyed speaking with Frank, Elias, and everybody about all the nyumbu (wildebeest) how exciting it was to see Chewi (cheetah) and telling them asanti sana and Kazan zuri (thank you and excellent job!), even asanti qua cu njoli (thank you for taking care of us). We miss them so much and can’t say enough great things about this incredible camp!

I don’t want to spoil all the wonderful little surprises you’ll enjoy when you arrive here but here is just a taste of what you can expect: Immaculately clean, well-decorated bungalow-style tent with hot water, American-standard plumbing and facilities, and the romantic ambiance of a wood-burning fire and lantern-lit walkways. You’ll be greeted every morning with fresh coffee, pastries, hot chocolate, and/or tea (your choice). You’ll be provided a very knowledgeable guide who will educate you as much as you can absorb about the flora, fauna, culture, language, and ecosystems. You’re the honored guest at what feels like home: what time do you want to wake up? Anything in particular you want the chef to try and make? When would you like us to make sure you have time for a hot shower? Anything else we can do to make your stay extra special? Lastly, one of the little boys from one of the other families had a birthday there during our stay and the entire camp was welcomed to sing and dance and celebrate together! We all smiled and laughed so much my face hurt! Haha Thank you to all my new friends at Chaka Camp, we truly can’t wait to see you again soon!

Justin and his team were incredible. The accommodation was fabulous, food, amazing, friendly team. We stayed for two nights but now knowing what Chaka Chaka is like I would stay for several more days to relax and enjoy the ambience. Definitely a must stay.
