    Incredible Glamping
Our experience at Embalakai was phenomenal. We have continued to talk about how this is one of the coolest places we've stayed on any of our trips and my fiance and I are both avid travelers! Staff were helpful, always friendly, and very knowledgable. Food was delicious (and when there was a soup or an appetizer I didn't want to eat because of my diabetes, they were always so flexible in bringing me an alt option!), our tent was very comfortable. We traveled across Tanzania for 2.5 weeks and this shower was one of our best in the entire country - both in consistent hot water and water pressure. We could always charge our phones and our cameras at night, and the wifi was reliable in our tent. We saw a family of monkeys, giraffe, zebra, gazelle, hyena, buffalo, and antelope at camp in our 2 days there, and we heard lions at night! A great launching point for being able to have all-day game drives in the Serengeti. We always felt safe and protected - the Massai warriors walk you to your room and the main tent at night, and our room was very secure. Rooms are tented walls with a screen layer and a layer like a blackout curtain, and we slept incredibly well in our king bed. Would absolutely return to Embalakai Camps!!
Dear Rachel K, We are thrilled by your detailed review of our camp we are glad to hear that all our amenities and ambiance made you incredibly happy and comfortable,We are promising to maintain these qualities. Please let us know on your next visit we will surely have a great offer for you. Kind regards Embalakai Team.

    Exceptional and memorable stay
We have spent 2 nights at the Embalakai Camp with my boyfriend and we simply loved so much the staff, the tent, the food, the services they provide… everything was simply perfect. In the tent there is a shower, toilet, new towels everyday, the food is really good and different all the time, employees always have the smile and are always helpful and happy to see new guests. My boyfriend asked the staff to help him to organize for a proposal and they simply did their best for this occasion (special romantic dinner and setting, provided all the equipment to make a romantic set up at the location requested by my fiancé, romantic set up in the tent on the bed…). I highly recommend this accommodation. You’ll never be disappointed!
Woow, what a proposal! Its our job to make sure we meet our guests wish,We are very happy to know we made your proposal a wonderful one.I hope you will come back for your honeymoon. We will be more than happy to host you again. KARIBU TENA, Best Regards, Embalakai Team

Yes it's all under canvas in the middle of the Serengeti but it's more like glamping really. The individual tents are quipped with a four poster bed, shower, toilet and washing facilities which are solar powered. Walkie Talkie communication with the main building as you need escorted by a Masi warrior after dark because the animals roam around. Heard a lion around our tent early in the morning!! Food was excellent, the staff were amazing (thanks for the birthday cake and awesome singing!) and surprisingly good WIFI considering our location!! Thanks for a great couple of days!!

This new tented lodge is very well designed and built, enhancing the Safari experience. Very comfortable rooms, delicious dinners, extremely courteous staff with attention to detail. We spent here 2 nights with the kids. The place and staff successfully handled the unexpected storm/rain.

We stayed 2 nights while exploring the Serengeti. The tents are clean, comfortable and well equipped. They combine guest experience and security with the needs of the wildlife in the park. We were treated to Zebra and Wildebeest grazing in the camp - and woken on our first morning by a lion roaring as he passed through. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the food was great. A real once in a lifetime experience.

My wife and I were part of a tour group which included traveling with friends and family. We enjoyed the prime location of the camp within the park for game drives, were completely satisfied with the staff, and very much enjoyed the connection with the Masai Warriors, who provided security when walking us thru camp after dark. The staff were all outstanding, professional and very friendly, the food was good and the setting was wonderful and wild. The camp is not fenced so the experience was a little too wild, with lions in camp on both nights we visited. We saw lions at about 40 yards from our tent our first night and were told the next day there had been four lions in the camp during the night. We heard them growling and panting just outside our tent for most of the night, which we found to be unsettling at the least. If you like a wild experience, this camp certainly fits the bill.

Nice and clean. The food is adequate and staff try very hard to please. The accommodations are clean and the tents are basic. Solar water heaters and the water was hot. Nice location with wild life views- giraffe ,baboons, lions ( yes lions ) buffalo from the seating veranda at the lodge.

Such an amazing experience. The tents are beautiful, the staff is so welcoming and friendly, and you couldn’t be closer to the real Serengeti. We were greeted by some baboons in the trees next to our tent and could hear wildlife around. A once in a lifetime experience!
