We stayed at the Siringit Serengeti Camp in the middle of the Serengeti for two nights before moving North to see the Wildebeest Migration and river crossing, and we had a marvelous time!

As other reviewers note, the "tents" are to camping tents as a mansion is to a shack. These are spacious (probably around 40 square meters), with a hard skeleton firmly anchored in the ground and sturdy canvas sides and roof, a wooden floor, a comfortable bed (large, probably king-sized or close to it), and also a bathroom area with stone-sided shower, wash basins, and a toilet.

The staff were wonderful. Gilbert (our guide) and Fredrick (our butler) were outstanding. Fredrick always had nutritious and tasty food for us, and Gilbert was marvelous at finding lots of animals for us to see, including a Leopard eating a kill in a tree (but the only thing I could see was the tail).

Fredrick (or someone) also arranged for our clothes to be laundered so we would set out in the morning in a clean set of clothes.

I must mention that, like in the desert, it gets cold in the Serengeti quickly at night, and the staff had a hot water bottle for each of us in the bed when we turned in which were greatly appreciated.

All in all, it was a marvelous experience!

My mom and I just visited Siringit (3 nights at the Villa, 4 nights at the Serengeti Camp), and we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY. We had an idea that it would be nice from other friends who had done safaris, but our expectations were surpassed on every single level. We could never have expected this level of luxury and service, let alone in the middle of the Serengeti.

The camp has running water, flush toilets, electricity, laundry, and excellent WiFi. We had a personal butler who served us at every meal and obliged our every request. A room attendant who serviced the room several times a day - we never had to ask for a single thing (hot water bottles in the sheets at night was always a welcome surprise). A private driver who took us on two game drives per day - we saw every animal! A night guard who escorted us around the camp at night for added safety. And an entire team of staff who were simply kind, positive, and welcoming 100% of the time. The story was the same at the Villa, where we had a personal butler and a great team of staff.

The food was tremendous, every meal was gourmet and delicious. We had no issues getting clean water or healthy food. The beds were incredible comfortable. The decor was over the top. Every detail was just perfect... we literally can not say enough good things.

Thank you, Siringit!

Our family of five, with two children aged 10 and 14, spent two nights at this incredible camp. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating to our requests. We were met with a song and dance on arrival and another on departure. Irene, the manager, was friendly and kind, and our butler, Fredrick, obliged our every request with enthusiasm. The food and drinks were incredible and there was a maasai show one night, which was fun to watch. The tents were large, beautiful and well-equipped with everything we needed, including amazing, hot showers, comfortable beds, and hot water bottles in the beds at night. There was complimentary laundry included, which was returned same-day. The location was beautiful and we could see and hear many animals in the area. This camp was well-located to visit the Central Serengeti and we would definitely recommend this camp to anyone visiting this area. Thanks to the staff for making this our favourite stay in Tanzania!

What a treasure. Siringit is totally unassuming from the outside and requires traveling a long, bumpy road to get to, but step into any of the beautifully appointed tents and you find comfort, calm and ahhh. The staff is lovely - will do anything for you and with a smile. And the accomodations are lovely - thoughtful touches, comfortable beds, chairs and lounges, beautiful decor. I would have stayed for weeks. The food is thoughtfully prepared, dietary accomodations made, requests met with pleasure. Evenings around the fire pit were fun and relaxing, and time on the tent verandas or in the common living room tent was peaceful with views out over the Serengeti beauty. Truly one of the most lovely places I've ever stayed.

First time 'glamping'. A tented camp in the Serengeti Park, in the middle of no where.
Received a warm, singing and dancing reception by staff. Our tent looked out onto the plains which was beautiful and blissfully quiet. Tent had a very comfortable, cozy bed, bathroom separated behind by a partition lined in wood with walk-in shower, sink cabinet and toilet with door. Sofa, occasional table and desk. Very comfortable and warm when tent was enclosed at night. A small deck for sitting outside. A pair of boots for each of us came in handy as it rained the first night and was muddy.
Dining tent served well prepared 3 course meals with wine, breakfast buffet with cooked eggs if requested. As it was dark at dinner time, one had to stand on ones deck and wave a flashlight for escort to dining tent. There are animals out there watching! Sitting around a campfire, our guard/escort armed with a spear (which he knew how to use) shone his torch to reveal about 50 ft away a pair of eyes - leopard he says. We watched as it may its way up and through the camp, not stopping. There were also about 20 pairs of eyes further back - hyenas. They kept their distance. There were some animal noises at night, but nothing threatening the tent.
Stayed 2 nights, would have liked to enjoy the place a few days more, but off we went to our next tent accommodation further north. Bid farewell with the crew singing their goodbyes.
A wonderful way to get close to nature, and no television!!! But there is wifi.
Highly recommend.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at this exceptional beautiful camp. The tents are epuipped like a premium hotel, the level of detail makes you feel welcome and at home. We stay three nights and were more than lucky to see all of the big 5 with many more astounishing sightings thanks to our guide James. We had a great time with you, thanks a lot. Another thanks to all of the staff members who were genuine nice and warm hearted. Especially Frederic made our stay special and even helped me surprise my wife with a breakfast at our tents.
Warm recommendation and we hope to come back there!

Frederic was our attendant, he was just AMAZING! Food was delicious and Frederic was always attentive to any need or request. Everybody at the camp is kind, happy, and with the best disposition to make your stay the best. Absolutely recommended!

Also decoration of the rooms and common areas were stunning! The only thing may be to get better is the shower phone or where the water comes off. But just a detail! Otherwise nothing to say. Just congratulate the staff for the outstanding experience we had at Siringit!!

A truly wonderful experience. Irene did a fantastic job of managing the camp. Our guide Chacha was super knowledgeable and really took the time to educate us on all aspects of the Serengeti ecosystem while showing us virtually every animal the area had to offer (with the exception of a rhino which is nearly impossible to see outside of a special program). Our butler/host John was exceptional in making sure we were comfortable and well cared for. The food was magnificent, and very tasty vegetarian options were always available. We enjoyed a variety of game drives as well as sitting around a campfire before
Dinner each evening. The tents were well appointed and quite comfortable and had been cleaned every time we returned from an outing or meal. Daily laundry service was helpful. We could hear hyenas calling at night, and several animals would frequent the area, but night guards ensured our safety. Melau was an especially awesome guard. He clearly enjoyed his role and was joyous in sharing a bit about his culture and in establishing a solid rapport with us. I'm sure he comes from a tough background but he seemed to be one of the happiest people we've ever met.

I’d no idea what the ramifications were of staying in a mobile camp on safari. This means that twice per year they uproot the entire establishment and move it to another area in order to maximize migration (zebra, wildebeest, Cape buffalo)viewing for the guests.

It’s located in the far reaches of the Serengeti so be prepared for another long car ride of “African massage” (ruts, dips, mudslides, bumps). The tent was very private, located away from other guests and cook tent/dining tent. We had zebras and vervets visit our porch on a daily basis. The food was good, nothing hugely memorable. Breakfasts were basic continental style. Our butler, Jackson, was courteous and paid attention to any needs we had (I.e., there was an issue with housekeeping: used cleaning rags were left behind-that happened once. Towels are very worn and bed linens basic. There were several holes in the bed screen netting…

The bath and commode were definitely “camp”. Nothing fancy and no privacy. We only had one electrical outlet that worked and it made for a very dark tent in the morning and at night.

Tito was our ranger guide and was phenomenal. There was nothing he didn’t know. Great demeanor, humorous and looked at wildlife from a photographer’s eye which enabled many beautiful pictures to be made. His English: flawless.

Al together a good experience with an excellent experience on the Serengeti. Ask for Tito!

This was the last two nights of our safari and I'll tell you what - we went out with a bang!!! This camp is SPECTACULAR. We had stayed in two other tented camps and BY FAR this was the best accomodations and food. I could have stayed another week! You could never dream of something this spectacular. If your travels take you nearby to Siringit you owe it to yourself and your loved one to stay here.

Yes. Solar panels generated a good electrical supply during our visit and I imagine will still be doing so in 2024.
