Special thanks to Binni who made our stay in this hotel fantastic from the very moment we arrived. We were booked in an immaculate room with astounding views to watch animals and grand Serengeti sunsets. The bed was big and comfortable, a nice balcony, great bathroom/s and personalized frills for his and hers. The food and drinks were top class and I loved the pool too. Thank you Binni and see you in December

This is Zara Tour's property in the Serengeti and you are likely to end up here if you book a safari through them. The lodge is a bit odd with a strange and empty lobby that is the opposite of cozy, an ok dining area with ok food and really nice and very spacious bungalows with an amazing view. Overall not a bad choice, although if you can get into the Serena Lodge (which is close by) at a reasonable price it is a lot nicer and may be worth the upgrade (we stayed at both in 6/2022).

We loved every moment that we were at Serengeti Safari Lodge. The staff were very welcoming and hospitable. They attended to all our wishes from the moment we arrived late in the afternoon from Ngorongoro. The well appointed room was immaculate with spectacular views of Serengeti. Walking around the property with Maasai guards was a nice touch. Great value for money!

The hospitality we got at this magnificent lodge was amazing. The staff led by Binni treated us like loyalty. The food was very good and the stylish rooms very well appointed for total comfort. It felt heavenly to return to the oasis in the middle of the jungle. A special mention to Kintai and Jacob the two wonderful Maasai warriors who would accompany on our walks from the main building to our room and back. I highly recommend!! Very special!!

Stayed here for two nights - the rooms were really nice however no hot water either day/night (they tell you it's only until 9pm but doesn't matter what time of day for our room this didn't work) and infact the morning we left no water at all for hand washing, toilet flushing or showers. The food wasn't the best and didn't match the standard of the rooms in terms of luxury particularly for breakfast where they made sure to give us a teaspoon of beans. I understand this is remote venue and some flexibility should be given however this is not a budget accommodation and facilities should match the high price tag. One night we were there we didn't even get a choice of food for dinner it was just one thing on the menu that they just brought us without choice. It was clear the owners were visiting and that all the efforts were put on them and not the guests. The staff seemed much friendlier on the first night than the second. We were only one of two or three groups there at the time and another group requested to leave. The bare bones of this place are great but given the price tag this place needs to improve a few things before matching up to others. At the time of booking our tour we were given a choice of two accommodations and we choose this over the Serena hotel as it looked more interesting however I can't help but think some more honest reviews would have been useful to read about this place before making the decision.

Stayed 2 nights at Serengeti Safari Lodge and it was just the right place to relax after the adventure filled game drives in Serengeti. Being the low season there wasn’t much traffic with the friendly staffs available for our comfort. The lodge is located in a great location with high footfall of animals that we could see from the balcony of our luxurious cottage which was set out beautifully in a serene spot overlooking the open Serengeti plains. It was tastefully furnished with locally made pieces and artwork, a comfortable king size bed, bathtub & open shower and all the frills one can expect to get in a luxury resort. Meals were buffet style with a variety of meats, salads, fruits veggies, starches…. We enjoyed sipping cocktails from the well-stocked bar at the poolside. I can’t wait for another visit to this great resort.

This was our second stay at this lovely lodge in 2 years and it was still as good as we left it. We selected a tented cabin on the western end and enjoyed the spectacular Serengeti sunsets. The luxurious rooms are created to pamper a weary traveler with fine details and amenities that bring one closer home. The beautiful natural landscape surrounding the lodge coupled with fine dining/wining, the pool, the spa and attentive staff makes the place an oasis in Serengeti.

The lodge was part of the accommodations planned in our itinerary in Serengeti. My husband and I stayed spent 2 unforgettable nights here and we loved it best! Staffs were very nice, they ensured that we were comfortable and did not lack anything after our long drive to Serengeti from Lake Manyara Park. The lodge is fantastic with comfortable luxurious detached rooms. Beds- Perfect, Baths/shower- clean and indulgent, 360 degree views from inside and a deck opening to the vast grassland, we actually saw antelopes, birds and giraffes as we lounged on the deck. On the second afternoon we enjoyed a lazy swim at the pool in the common area. Food is delicious and plentiful as a wide variety is served. I can go on and on about this lodge........ I guess you have to experience it!

We stayed three nights at Serengeti Safari Lodge in January 2022. Our days were full of safari from morning to evening, in between we rested at this fantastic lodge. Wonderful surroundings, the animals close by in a lush valley. Rooms very nice, clean and tidy, big comfortable beds, great views from the balcony. Private toilet, shower and bath overlooking the valley, towels, soap and shampoo are available. Swimming pool. In teh room safty box and a bottle of water a day per person. Room service and escort from and to the room in the evening in the dark, when the buffaloes and maybe other animals were close by. Wonderful staff, no one mentioned and no one forgotten, all with a smile, took good care of us and made our stay unforgettable. Our package included full board (not drinks for dinner), all food that was served tasted good and was well cooked. The safari included water and a lunch box. Tip: bring biscuits / fruit or similar, there is no shop, nothing to buy and on a full day in a safaricar it can be good with some snacks. Payment at check-out, we paid with Mastercar / Visa but they also take cash. Remember to have cash for tips (tips are left in the tip box at the bar). Thank you all att SSL for a great stay! Greetings Liza & Mårten from Sweden

Staying in the savannah, in a real lion's house (at least in the yard :-)), is unreal and really special. The sounds of the night and the abundance of life we have witnessed while staying here are unforgettable. The bathtub in the hut overlooking the sunset is a special detail. Jacob, the cordial manager, is here to ask you every morning and every evening if everything is okay. If you are afraid of the dark, there is Shuku, born not far away in the bushes, with a spear to escort you to the bungalows. We'll be happy to come back here. Three days was too little.
