One Nature Nyaruswiga is an ultra-luxurious safari camp situated at the heart of Central Serengeti in the majestic Nyaruswiga Hills. This unique destination hosts a wide array of resident wildlife while serving as an awe-inspiring backdrop for the millions of migrating animals that annually pass through its plains. One Nature offers 14 opulent safari tents, comprised of 12 stunning, one-bedroom Luxury Tents and two exquisite, two-bedroom Family Tents. Each has its en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, sitting area, and private sundeck, with unobstructed views of the open savannah. The camp also offers a luxuriously appointed dining area, lounge, bar, infinity pool & Jacuzzi, Astral observation deck, trading post, and badminton court. Other amenities at the eco-friendly property include 24/7 electricity powered by a smart hybrid solar power system, a water supply safely purified by reverse osmosis, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Being at One Nature Nyaruswiga felt like a throw-back to what a camp must have been like when the British were first coming to Africa on big game hunts. Rustic elegance at its finest. The staff was the most-attentive of any camp we stayed and they asked for and gladly welcome feedback. You could just feel they wanted to do their best and wanted their guests to have the ultimate vacation. Like other places we stayed, rain prior to our arrival had been abundant in the area. Therefore we had to work a bit harder to see the animals but when we did it was great. Here we saw lions lounging in trees and a cheetah hunt gazelle. The main lounge area was dreamy...I seriously felt like I was in a movie. I loved the tents and the outdoor shower was great. One Nature had our favorite vehicles. They were top notch! My husband is trying to figure out how he can get one. Deedo (I know I'm misspelling) was a fantastic host. Deo & Peter were there for everything we needed. Andrew & Charles were enthusiastic guides. One of my favorite things was the personal delivery of coffee in the morning at your preferred time. I can still hear the staff slowly coming up to our tent with a quiet "Jambo" and bringing us amazing coffee (I think they said they roast it themselves). You can be guaranteed that One Nature will do everyone they can to make your time whth them memorable.

To put my review in context, this was my 5th safari trip in four years to over 20, mostly higher-end, camps. Given the lack of tourism due to the pandemic, it has been hard on everyone in Tanzania that relies on tourism. Despite that, everyone I met was friendly, welcoming, and generous.
Regarding Covid, all the camps I visited, including One Nature, had protocols in place whereby I never gave Covid a thought once I got to Tanzania.
As with any camp in this price space, it is reasonable to have high expectations. One Nature met or exceeded all my expectations, and I would happily return. • Food. I would say that the quality of the food and creativity of the chef exceeded all the other camps I have visited. Every meal had a unique feature to it and I always had several interesting options from which to choose. If you are a foodie, this is the camp you want to visit. • Staff. The staff was excellent. One Nature has been able to attract very experience people from all over Tanzania. They all know how to provide an exceptional experience. • Guide. Livingston was a great guide and I really enjoyed my time with him. I had two of my all-time best sightings with him. • Attention to details. Everything else you would expect in a camp like this was excellent: the tents, furnishing, common areas, location, etc. However, their attention to detail was exceptional.
In summary, I highly recommend this camp for a trip to the Serengeti.

One Nature was the favorite of our 6 stays while in Tanzania. You could hardly call the accommodations tents even if the walls were canvas. My spouse does not "camp" and he was thrilled with this place. The lodge was stunning as were the extremely well appointed rooms. The website pictures do not even do it justice. The beds were so comfortable and the heated water bottle each night was a plus. As were the outdoor (as well as indoor) showers and bathrooms with Molton Brown products. We felt like we were rich travelers from the mid/early 20th century on safari with the best of everything. Hearing the animals outside of the tent at night was exhilarating and shockingly not scary as we knew the precautions the security was taking. And to be able to leave the lodge each day and be in the middle of all of the animals in minutes was perfect.
But beyond the accommodations, what we appreciated the most was the staff. They were so friendly and the service was exceptional. They even set up movie night outside while we were having dinner. We did not want to leave. And I have no idea how in the middle of the Serengeti they could provide the food and cocktails that they did. A special shout out to the chef. We have several in our family that are picky eaters and she could have been a chef in one of the finest restaurants anywhere in the world.
The lodge was not full which we found shocking given how amazing the place was. If we ever have the chance to return to Tanzania, we can only hope that they are not fully booked so we can get a tent! We could not recommend this lodge more highly should you find yourself with the opportunity to go on Safari in Tanzania.

Not to say this place is so amazing, you can see from pictures from many travelers, people make difference, people matters. The service, hospitality, and friendship are by far best experience I had. It is like family members to take care us. Whatever problems happen, they all be there. Dido, Peter, Del and everyone there are so amazing. I am I’ll say we had all possible bad things happened but Dido’s team fix all! My land cruiser sub gas tank not working, they fixed it. My land cruiser stuck in the mud during the night, Dido’s team came to pick up us back to lodge, they then pull my car out. My son got little bit sick, Dido cooked special chicken rice soup for my son two days so he feels better. They clean up my car every day, put all snack into my car every time we went out. If we back little bit late, Dido keep checking with me about where we are, make sure we are safe. Even after we check out left resort, Dido still checking if we arrive our next destination safely. This is really the place to feel completely at home.

My husband and I stayed at the One Nature for 3 nights in July. It was our 2nd lodge that we stayed in while we were in Tanzania (we were previously near Tarangire National Park). I cannot begin to describe how amazing this property is. My husband and I travel a fair amount and have stayed in some beautiful hotels but our experience here was really like no other.
The facilities and the rooms are so incredibly beautiful- really out of a Ralph Lauren catalogue. You will want to photograph every inch of the property. The rooms were spacious and just as gorgeous. The staff was so attentive and really anticipated all your needs- fresh towels waiting for you after your game drives, fireplace in your room during turndown service (perfect since we went during their winter months), hot water bottles to warm the beds, really thoughtfully written cards and champagne in your room upon arrival, fully set beautiful tables during our lunches in the bush, etc.
The cocktails here were incredible. We are from NYC so are used to great cocktail bars and these cocktails definitely impressed us. They had several signature drinks in which they made using really unique methods. One night, one of the managers gave us cigar and cognac/whisky pairing "lesson" which was really fun.
The food was delicious. I'd say that the menu items skewed more western-style (which may be because during our stay, there was only one other couple staying at the lodge and they were from America as well). My husband loved this but I personally would have loved to see more local dishes on the menu.
On our last night, the staff set up a beautiful dinner in our backyard. Apparently they typically do this dinner in the bush but during the time we went, they had just done the management fire (burning of the grass to control the growth of the bush) so it was not ideal to do the dinner in the bush. They set up beautiful candles and lanterns all around the backyard, built us a bonfire and we had out own personal chef in our backyard grilling under the stars.
We actually went to the Singita (reputable, uber luxury lodges) in Rwanda after our stay here and my husband and I both agreed that we preferred the One Nature experience.

Dear Jane, Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. It was such a pleasure for us to have welcomed you and your husband Nicholas and a privilege to have been a part of such a special time in your lives. Knowing that you had a great experience brings us great joy and inspires us to always strive to do better. Mixing things up and keeping the "spirits" (pardon the pun :) high is something we enjoy very much, so we are very glad you enjoyed it too. And now that we know of your interest in tasting some of the more traditional dishes, we will make sure to dish up something special for you on your next visit (sometime soon we hope? :). Thank you again for your amazing feedback and do trust that we will share your wonderful words with the rest of the team. Reading through your review will surely keep them smiling the entire day! We have stayed in many luxury hotel and I can say this is one of the best ones!! It is simply amazing. The food delicious, the staff so friendly and happy to help, surprising us daily with details to make the experience more unique and amazing.
Every area of the hotel was impecable, so clean and so beautiful decorated just as you see in the pictures. They received us so nice, and every time we left for safaris they were there present to say good byes, take care of us, and making sure we had everything we needed.
Godlisten (our safari guide) was simply amazing. He knew exactly where to find all the animals and we got to see great variety of them even leopards and cheetas that are hard to find. The safari cars were amazing it made the experience much more fun.
Dido (the manager) was so amazing and checking out all the details for our stay to be incredible. We are so thankful to all the staff Peter, Emma, the cooks, everyone for making our stay unforgettable! We would love to come back soon with our families!!

Some places are amazing because they sit in a gorgeous place or have fantastic facilities. This One Nature resort has all this. But what sets it apart is the exceptional service that we will remember forever and this is why we strongly recommend this resort. The luxurious tent makes you feel truly at home even when you are surrounded by wildlife in the middle of the Serengeti park (wild animals literally rub against your tent at night). But the warmth of the staff, the quality of the service, the many small surprises and details, create a unique experience. Kudos to the manager and all the staff.

Staying at One Nature felt like stepping into a different era, where every detail evoked a sense of timeless elegance.
The main lounge and bar was mesmerizing, transporting us into what felt like a movie set.
The service was impeccable, sophisticated yet incredibly warm, making us feel genuinely welcomed. Manager Steve was a standout, always attentive and responsive to our needs.
From the outside, the tent seemed quite ordinary with its charming crowns, but once we stepped inside, we were blown away by the luxurious interior. Every amenity screamed luxury, from the incredibly comfortable, massive bed to the exquisite indoor shower and bathtub that were perfect for chilly evenings. The outdoor shower in the morning, with its stunning view over the savannah, was a memorable and invigorating experience.
The food was another highlight of our stay. With a plethora of choices and a menu that changed daily, every meal was a culinary delight.
Despite visiting during the high season, our guide Jose skillfully navigated us away from the crowds in the Serengeti, ensuring a serene and personalized safari experience. The open four seater safari car was super comfortable and added an extra thrill as we got up close with the wild animals.
One Nature Nyaruswiga truly made us feel at home. The warmth of the staff, the exceptional service, and the luxurious accommodations exceeded our expectations.
We can't wait to return and share this extraordinary experience with our friends.

My wife and I have done a lot of luxury traveling, but our stay in One Nature, and Tanzania in general, was a truly unique experience. We have never felt so at home. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Andrew, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgable and able to answer all of our million questions about the animals and landscape. Herry, the manager, was incredible and so interesting to talk with. We really felt like family. We cannot wait to return one day and hope to have the exact same experience, we wouldn’t change a thing! Hi there! Our property is not located in a tsetse infested area. During game drives, you might encounter a couple, but we do have fly repellent and fly whisks in our safari vehicles.
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your request. Could you please provide me with your email address so that we can send you pictures and provide you with all the information that you need.
Thank you
Dear Lenasia,
We are located at the heart of the Central Serengeti, and the best time to see the migration in our area is end of April, May and June and then November and December again when then herds are moving south.
The Mara crossing is a 2.5 h game drive from One Nature Nyaruswiga and the crossing can be seen in July and August.
The best thing about our camp’s site, is that we are so centrally located, that no matter what direction migrating herds may go, we are equally distant from the south, north and west of the Serengeti. This means that as long as they are in Tanzania, then they can be easily located and sighted from our camp.
There are more places to choose from in the Serengeti National Park area.
