we stayed at Simba Farms for 4 nights last week....what a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy scenic beauty at its best....the owners and staff can't do enough for you....nothing is too much.....the food is farm to table, plentiful and best of all delicious.....we stayed in the Jacaranda cottages....the outside porch was just lovely with gardens and birds all around....in the morning coffee was delivered to our room with a smile and wood for our fireplace.....be aware that there isn't electricity during daylight hours....no internet in rooms.....not a problem, but be aware....the cottage itself was small but had everything you needed...the bathroom has a shower....my only negative comment would be on the walls that need painting and dirty curtains and mosquito netting....the pool was nice to sit by, but because of dirt, dust and wind , it was hard to keep it clean..! not very inviting pool.....We would return in a heartbeat any time we are ever again in West Kilimanjaro.... 😀😀

This lodge is absolutely charming. The staff is so friendly and helpful! The grounds are lovely - it was so nice to take a stroll through the gardens and see the animals. The food was amazing. Although we only stayed there for one night, it was the best food we ate during our week-long stay in Tanzania. I would highly recommend staying here for a night or two!

The simba farm lodge is a family run company. They have their own farm and offer rooms. Its location is beautifull and their lodge is very cosy. The owners and staff are so nice, they make you feel at home. I would absolutely recommend staying here when visiting Tanzania.

We stayed at the Simba Farm Lodge for two nights with two of our kids. It's such a cool rustic farm house, with a huge veranda with amazing views of Mt. Meru and Longido and the valley in general. It rained a good bit while we were there, but the beds were super comfy and warm, and the staff built us a fire in the fireplace and provided umbrellas. The food was amazing, four course meals that were all obviously home made with fresh farm produce, and they bake their own bread and have fresh farm milk and yogurt. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did the River walk through the forest, which was more of a short hike, and steep in places, but really enjoyable. Bring good walking/hiking boots. Good to time your visit with the rainy season/dry season.

Our family of 3 stayed at Simba Farm Lodge for 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed the experience. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the staff go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable one. Food is fresh mostly from the farm and the farm tour and river trail were both educational and adventurous for our young son. The guest house is comfortable with scenic views and private meals on your own verandah were lovely if you like your privacy. We'd love to go back for another experience of West Kilimanjaro!

We had a lovely visit for three nights at this lodge. It was so nice for our kids to have an experience on a working farm including collecting chicken eggs, harvesting vegetables, and milking cows. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and food was fresh and delicious!

Our family of 6 stayed here for one night. The setting was beautiful. There was a small pool for swimming and of course a beautiful garden on the working farm. The food was made fresh with ingredients straight from the garden. The hosts were super friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it could have been longer!

My husband and I live in Tanzania and have visited many different accommodations over the years, ranging from Lodges, Hotels, Tented Camps and Bed & Breakfasts. Simba Farm Lodge is now one of my favourites. It is relaxed, comfortable and definitely a home away from home. The food is some of the best we have experienced and nearly all of it farm to table. We stayed in the guesthouse and had our own private veranda with outside seating and dining. The views across the garden and beyond to Mt Meru are breath-taking. We had a guided tour of the farm and it was a real education. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved staying here. If we were not on schedule, I could have just stayed here for a few weeks. Relaxed & friendly hosts. Incredible setting and wonderful dinners. Closest accommodation to the Western Kilimanjaro gate - Londorossi Gate. You are literally staying just outside the gate on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. 5 Stars!
