We stayed at the Simba Farm Lodge for two nights with two of our kids. It's such a cool rustic farm house, with a huge veranda with amazing views of Mt. Meru and Longido and the valley in general. It rained a good bit while we were there, but the beds were super comfy and warm, and the staff built us a fire in the fireplace and provided umbrellas. The food was amazing, four course meals that were all obviously home made with fresh farm produce, and they bake their own bread and have fresh farm milk and yogurt. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did the River walk through the forest, which was more of a short hike, and steep in places, but really enjoyable. Bring good walking/hiking boots. Good to time your visit with the rainy season/dry season.

Our family of 6 stayed here for one night. The setting was beautiful. There was a small pool for swimming and of course a beautiful garden on the working farm. The food was made fresh with ingredients straight from the garden. The hosts were super friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it could have been longer!

Our family of 3 stayed at Simba Farm Lodge for 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed the experience. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the staff go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable one.

Food is fresh mostly from the farm and the farm tour and river trail were both educational and adventurous for our young son.

The guest house is comfortable with scenic views and private meals on your own verandah were lovely if you like your privacy.

We'd love to go back for another experience of West Kilimanjaro!

We camped next to the lodge where we found a wonderful hot shower, a good place for cooking and spacious campingspots. But we could also join all the good things of the lodge and the children loved all the farm animals. The surroundings are beautiful, but the best part are the meals. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients while watching the sun set behind the plains of West Kilimanjaro. And personally, I loved the Dutch touch in everything!
I also had a look in the rooms and I loved the coziness and all decorations. This is certainly a great place to spend a few days, either as part of your safari or as a retreat!

We absolutely loved staying here. If we were not on schedule, I could have just stayed here for a few weeks. Relaxed & friendly hosts. Incredible setting and wonderful dinners. Closest accommodation to the Western Kilimanjaro gate - Londorossi Gate. You are literally staying just outside the gate on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. 5 Stars!

We had a lovely visit for three nights at this lodge. It was so nice for our kids to have an experience on a working farm including collecting chicken eggs, harvesting vegetables, and milking cows. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and food was fresh and delicious!

This lodge is absolutely charming. The staff is so friendly and helpful! The grounds are lovely - it was so nice to take a stroll through the gardens and see the animals. The food was amazing. Although we only stayed there for one night, it was the best food we ate during our week-long stay in Tanzania. I would highly recommend staying here for a night or two!

My husband and I live in Tanzania and have visited many different accommodations over the years, ranging from Lodges, Hotels, Tented Camps and Bed & Breakfasts. Simba Farm Lodge is now one of my favourites. It is relaxed, comfortable and definitely a home away from home. The food is some of the best we have experienced and nearly all of it farm to table. We stayed in the guesthouse and had our own private veranda with outside seating and dining. The views across the garden and beyond to Mt Meru are breath-taking. We had a guided tour of the farm and it was a real education. Highly recommended.

It was the end of our tansania trip. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the romatic Jacaranda Cottage. It's a really wonderful and familiar atmosphere. We can recommend the wonderful Accomodation and the food - fresh prpared and a lot of variation. Phantastic!

Our amazing outfitter, Tanzania Serengeti Adventure, included Simba Farm in our itinerary and we couldn’t have been more pleased. A stunning place and farm to table, it is by far one of the most special experience (and meals!!!) I’ve ever had.
