We visited Ameg this November and in fact stayed here for 6 days due to work. The bungalows are nice without being extravagant, the pool is fine although not the biggest and the staff are generally very friendly and do much to help. There is free access to fitness room (possibly one of the best in town). As compared to... More

I stayed at Ameg Lodge for one night before climbing Kilimanjaro. Basic lodges, very clean and comfortable, staff could have been nicer - they are not in any hurry to do anything, especially bring you change. Great for one night stop but wouldn't stay here any longer.

I stayed here after climbing Kilimanjaro, on arrival I thought the hotel looked really nice. The lodges are spaced out, with seating areas outside and the gardens are well maintained. The bar area is friendly and the food we were served for our celebration evening meal was really nice. Wifi passwords were handed out for each guest which was great,... More

The staff are friendly, if a little under trained. The lodges are spacious and separated nicely. The lodges are clean and reasonably well equipped, AC in them and whilst a little 'travel lodge' style with old looking bathrooms they are functional. After all you are in Moshi, not exactly a tourism mecca. My biuggest grip though was the beds. They... More

I stayed at Ameg lodge for a couple of nights in June as a group took on the challenge of Kilimanjaro. We arrived at the hotel and was immediately impressed by the way the staff looked after us. The rooms were clean, spacious and spotless. We stated there for our final night and the staff put on a celebration dinner... More

While there was nothing wrong with our stay, we found the overall experience a bit disappointing. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, but the hotel operations did not meet our expectations. The Internet was super slow and unreliable. The food at the restaurant was mediocre. Service touch and go with some staff being super friendly (e.g. The gateman) others seemed... More

A nature resort, with simple yet comfortable cottages. The complimentary breakfast is spartan, but the a-la-carte meals are delicious and reasonably priced. A well-stocked bar adds to the charm! Service is excellent!

The Ameg Lodge was comfortable for us during our first nights in Tanzania. The grounds were quite pretty, and there were workers fixing, trimming, cleaning the grounds all day every day that we were here. The room itself was comfortable and clean, yet Spartan. We did not have hot water in the bathroom the first day, but it was plentiful... More

We stayed for 1 night before climbing Kilimanjaro. We arrived around lunch time and had no problems checking in. The rooms are a good size, although could do with a little TLC. The beds have mosi nets and there is aircon in the room. There is a desk and stool with TV - which we didn't use, a wardrobe and... More
