We went here for Easter, but left after only two nights. The place is really nice, and the manager did his best to accommodate us - we came expecting to self-cater, but the facilities were not ideal. But the main problem was the party going on every afternoon/evening right outside our rooms with loud music and Bollywood films projected on... More

This little place has its pros and cons, the road is very rough and when it rains you need a 4x4 the cottage we stayed in was quaint and very comfortable with a working air-con and a great view. but there was a lot of litter laying around that hadn't been picked up in some time. and as we had paid... During my several visits to this resort, I fully enjoyed the High Tide at the unique beach. The Tides are too good in this curvy beach and people can enjoy a lot. Even the road to the resort goes through the little bushes for about half a kilometer which is an experience in itself. The resort has a Pool also... More

The location of Changani is beautiful. On a hill top overlooking the ocean. Perfect combination of greenery and beach. There is a private beach where you can walk down from the stairs. Very friendly staff. Limited food menu but tasty. For better experience you need to inform them in advance for food. The place needs a bit of guidance to... More

If you're looking for a quiet getaway, I'd advise not staying in one of the rooms by the swimming pool. Music is played at top notch throughout the day and night. I'm told the bungalows down the hillside are quieter. The self-catering apartment located directly in front of the swimming pool, had little in way of cooking utensils, pots &... More

My girlfriend had been at Changani Cottage before, but on the way I still doubted there could be a place like she told, but I lost the bet, and now have to wash her feet every day a year. After a long and curved dirtroad we found some like paradise on earth. There was only a few guests - could... More

Welcome to real Africa. Excellent nature hidden behind dusty and puzzling pathways. if you are driving by yourself, you must be a genius and native speaker to find your destination. Call them to arrange your pick up and or have a local with you. Very quite and calm clean beach away from cacophony of dar es salaam. Once you are... More

We visited at Changani a few times over the past few months and stayed the night last night. Staff is warm and friendly and breakfast is served family style on the table, making the experience quaint and appropriate for families. The scene was beautiful and the beach was unforgettable. You could also order from the restaurant have food from the... More

We recently stayed here with my family for 1 week and the experience was more than we expected.Initially we had booked a cottage 1 bedroom but upon arrival Mr.Sagar Nair the General Manager gave us a discounted upgrade to a 2 bedroom cottage so that our daughter could have her own space and comfort. The rooms are antiquely furnished with large...
