Peaceful, nice little hostel where services were ok, food good and rooms clean. Breakfast on the roof terrace with good view. We got tuk-tuk or taxi very easily with help of hostel personnel. We go there second time if visiting Dar es Salaam.

We stayed only a night but were very happy for a warm welcome and late dinner on the terrace (they had kept food ready despite our late arrival). The room was clean and quiet and we were very happy to meet Roberta and hear about all the great work she is doing in Dar. Support her by coming to stay.

A fantastic, value for money place to stay. The staff are all really nice. The breakfasts are fantastic. They've just renovated, so probably best to ignore the previous review which was written before the renovation.

We came as a big group and many of us had to change rooms because of toilets leaking into the hotel room, dirty rooms, worms, and broken plug sockets etc. The towels were also dirty. Would definetly not recommend this hotel.

Good, clean, affordable accommodation. Very helpful staff. Has a rooftob bar and restaurant with some very tasty Mexican food options. Very popular option among visiting researchers and students. Highly recommended if staying in Dar for a while!
