The inn keeper treated us like royalty and the breakfast, my goodness, the breakfast! She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and like special guests. The house is so cute and nicely decorated. The garden within the walls is gorgeous and very well maintained. It was our first time there but I would go back... More

It was a real pleasure to stay at the beautiful Dar Nilam ....typical Moroccan atmosphere and decoration, big rooms, great hospitality from the marriage of owners and the lady helping. We even had a tour by the owner around Tangier to spot the main points of interest....thanks to his generosity because we did not even ask for that. Suculent dinner... More

Arrived here (eventually) in a taxi though no one knew where the place was even when we showed them on a printed map.... So difficult to find and no phone number on the website to call and locate but when we arrived we forgot all this. The owner was very nice and we were given drinks on arrival. We were... More

We stayed two nights at Dar Nilam, Tangier, and loved it. The Guest-house is located in a green and peaceful place, a couple of kilometres away from the medina. It has a lovely garden and the interior of the house is beautifully decorated, a haven of calm and comfort. The hosts were very helpful, hospitable and friendly. Our room was... More

I stayed there literally this week with my husband and two boys. We stayed in the family room which was a big room with a four poster and two singles. The downstairs is beautifully decorated and the garden and pool were nice enough to spend an afternoon relaxing in. They even brought us fresh melon to our Loungers, very nice... More

This was our first trip to Tangiers. The husband and wife who run this establishment speak English and are very accomodating. Neither the TV nor the internet worked at first, but eventually both got fixed. The dinner they served us was delicious. My wife is a pescaterian, and the fish was wonderful; we were served in a private area on... More

We spent there 10 days, owing to the fact the photo on site were very beautiful, and Tanger seemed to be a city out of the touristic route. Indeed it was, but we had the opportunity to experience the traditional courtesy and sense of hospitality of Marocco. Rachid has a lovely family, which run the Riad (guest house) together with... The swimming pool was still closed and the beach (reasonable walking distance) not an option due to spring weather so we had to multiply taxi trips back and forth to the Center - not the most easy or the most likeable with young children. The owners are professionals dedicated to their business and the hotel otherwise well maintained. As already... More

After a long day of travel it was a great comfort to be welcomed by the staff at Dar Nilam. This home was opulently decorated and the rooms were very spacious. The beds were firm, but provided a great night rest. Location was easy to navigate to from the port, but perhaps they should have a map available when booking... More
