We were 02 colleagues who visited Tangier for a day trip. We were guided to Chellah from a local guide who recommended us the hotel. It was a deal of 475 MAD without breakfast. Well, dont expect to have any view from the rooms of than the streets and lanes. The room was clean and simple with fresh towels and... More

Lackluster reception on arrival summed up the tired benidorm style hotel welcome one has only experienced through the infamous TV series. With the exception of some lovely bar/door and restaurant staff hotel Chellah is ok for a couple of nights but we made the fundamental mistake of booking it up for the week. Food dire rooms generally ok.

I travelled here with a small group of mostly solo travellers. I had a single room, whereas most others shared. The room I stayed in felt like the broom closest - although a reasonable size, it was just near the elevators rather than in one of the corridors like the others, it had tiled floors rather than carpeted, and it... Friendly, very clean Hotel although only 3 star we were pleasantly surprised. Bed comfortable and linen spotless and fresh as were the towels, bathroom and room. We loved it and would highly recommend. The food, pool and gardens were lovely and the staff were friendly and so attentive. Thank you Chellah Hotel a wonderful stay xx

A Dh20 taxi trip from the bus station and Dh30 to the Port , the hotel is fairly quiet, close to several restaurants and a supermarket (not open 1-5pm) and fairly clean.  Make sure you get a room on floors 1-3 if you want wifi access in your room - it is fairly hit and miss and often drops out... One fellow traveller found bed bugs in their room. Whole place is generally dirty and grubby. Mould on shower curtain. Mattress has stains on it. Looks like a truck stop motel. Floors and carpets seem and feel dirty. Wore slippers in the shower. Old, drab, dirty.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days, breakfast was authentic, clean rooms and friendly staff. Price was fair, they just need to look into the lobby's chairs as they were a bit old and filty The hotel is close to the city center and to the old city

Good location to stay. Rooms are fairly old and gloomy but are clean! Breakfast was good with a range of different foods available. The outside area has 2 bars and restaurant seating. There are always lives bands/singers at night with the pool being open till late.

Very nice and clean, situated at an excellent location very close to the center but it desperately needs a revamp. Multiple mouldy walls leaking water, decor takes you back in time and gives you the feeling you are in the60s. Very good bar and restaurant that they get really busy. Very friendly staff
