We booked for one night but ended up staying for 2. We then moved down to the seafront hotels, 4 and 5 star, but nothing matched the personal feel to La Tangerina. Beautiful terrace and views. Friendly staff and breakfast was lovely. So much nicer than a hotel.

The hotel faces the the Strait of Gibraltar. It is not a big place, only a handful of rooms, but cozy, with great terraces and seriously professional operation. We had a suite of two rooms and a double room, both with terraces. The main rooftop terrace of the hotel is also a restaurant and the breakfast place with Atlantic breeze... More

Everything except our room at La Tangerina was lovely. The breakfast, rooftop terrace with a gorgeous view, and the staff were all great. We arrived late in the evening, just before midnight, and the manager showed us upstairs to room 3. The room itself is tiny, which is fine, but it's directly above the street and there was enough traffic... More

The location of the hotel offers a wonderful view on the Tangier sea. The terrace is perfect for breakfast and the room is very comfortable. The service is impeccable and available at all time. It is a great hotel with very friendly staff that I highly recommend. Very pleasing atmosphere.

I cannot fault this hotel. The decor is simple and beautiful. The roof terrace is stunning. Staff were very friendly. Food was fresh, home made and tasty! It was such a relaxing short stay. La Tangerina is a great mix of someone's home and a small hotel. I cannot wait to return!

We stayed here one night but wished we had a week instead! Amazing! This family owned hotel is right in the Casbah but just outside the narrow and sometimes dingy inner heart of this old city center. The rooms are unique and excellent. Take a mint tea on the rooftop patio in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning with... More

My husband and I stayed at La Tangerina on the first weekend of August. I have really only good things to say. Breakfasts were by far my favorites. They have the best msemmen I've ever had. The view is stunning. We had room 10. It's great. But beware it can get noisy during at times since it's on the same... More

We stayed for one night in La Tangerina in July, in Suite 1. The hotel is in a great location in the Kasbah and a few minutes walk from the petit socco. The exterior facade of the hotel is very stylish, and inside and out the hotel felt extremely well maintained. Our room was on the first floor. It's spacious... More

If possible, stay at LaTangerina at least a night for great view, superb service and wonderful antique radio with great jazz music! Each room, small but complete, is with lovely unique antique radio playing jazz. We enjoyed the cozy and peaceful moment watching the sea at LaTagerina terrace. The room rate is super value for money!

A huge thank you to all the staff at La Tangerina, especially Farida, Sarah, Mohcine and the gentleman who served breakfast and always chatted with me in the morning. Communication before the trip was always replied to within hours. It's a beautiful guest house located in the medina which is a neighbourhood I fell in love with. Centrally located it's... More
