Sorry for the late review, but ... This was a “return” trip as it was where we had planned to stay last year and then couldn’t. It is right in the Medina on a tiny street. Our host, Peter, and his right-hand man, Muhammad, were great. All of Peter’s recommendations were spot on and he was extraordinarily helpful, even before...

Peter's Dar 23 is a great and extremely cozy place in the middle of the medina. The riad is pristine and the interior design top-notch. Both of us liked the breakfast very much which was prepared every morning with charme and love by Peter himself.

I can't believe it's already been 5 years since my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Dar 23! We remember it like yesterday at can't wait to return! We are once again looking at traveling back to Morocco and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Tangier than with Peter at Dar 23! From the moment we...

Dar 23 is a beautiful, quaint, well located property. We would highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Tangier. Peter, the owner of the riad, is very helpful with recommendations and things to do while you are staying in the city. He is a joy to talk to and we became fast friends and are still in touch today. We...

We visited Tanger last week end and chose Dar 23. Everything was perfect since the very beggining. Peter, our host, replied to all my emails and neverending questions. He arranged our transportation and made reservations at restaurants for us. The house is small but very charming. It is so well decorated. Our room, Nomade, was beautiful. The bathroom was tiny...

Peter is a wonderful host and took his time in making sure we knew exactly how to arrive in Tangier (via the overnight train from Marrakech) and how to experience his city. The home is beautiful and well manicured and Peter is charming. Breakfast was perfect every day and we received lots of recommendations for the city.

This review is very late but I had forgotten that I didn't write one. First of all thank you Peter for being so accommodating from the moment we messaged you to book until we left your residence. Unfortunately we never met Peter in person however, he left us a lengthy email telling us where to go in tangiers and the...

This is a charming, atmospheric, cosy small riad with a very good location in the middle of the Medina. Rooms have just the right amount of exoticism. Breakfasts on the terrace were definitely a highlight of the stay and last but not least, Peter is the most gracious host and a fantastic cook.

Though we ended up not staying here due to our ferry being cancelled, I had to give this place some kudos. Peter was SO helpful and responsive from our very first contact with him. He’s even answered some questions for us since our return home. We will definitely make an effort to stay here if we ever get to Tangier.
