Majid the manager is wonderful, he speaks English, French and Arabic. He also recommends good restaurants and has a reliable grand taxi on call at fair rates. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh bed linen and clean towels. Breakfast is traditional, fresh and superb. Thé a la menthe, juice and coffee with bread, pancakes and truly superb homemade jam.... More

Majid was very helpful in our one night stay in Rabat. The rooms were clean. Though for the amount we paid, we expect air conditioning in the rooms. They do not have air conditioning. If the weather was hotter (I.e. In July or august) it would have been unbearable.

We arrived later than expected due to flight delays but we rang so they knew we were coming, received suggestion on price for taxi too. The challenge was that this place is in th medina so you need to walk in and it was nearly 11 pm. We asked locals who were chatting in the laneways and they had someone... More

Nice riad, basic breakfast, good staf. Ismael is a gentleman. Nice, friendly and polite. Taxi for airport is 70 dirans. They charge me 330. Should not be surprised once I was in Morocco. But, I was. The bill spoileed my trip and my mood. Thanks I received the bomb in the last day.

Definitely hard to find upon arrival, and also after wandering around the medina. But it is small, bright and welcoming, and its traditional setting and interesting rooms contributed to the feel of Rabat. Please note though there are no airconditioning units, only very old electric fans. Majid, its proprietor was extremely helpful in providing directions which we failed to follow... More

I would concur with soupinmyfly's review. We found the fixtures and fittings in our first floor room to be functioning OK and felt the overall experience was in line with expectations. I feel it is necessary to highlight that if being collected via the arranged taxi from the airport it is essential that he walks you to the riad rather... More

Dar Aida is a little difficult to find as it is tucked away at the end of a passageway towards the North of the Medina. I stayed there on two occasions and in three different double rooms. The traditional theme for the Riad is very appealing. Each room is detailed and hand painted. It provides a traditional setting and'Moroccan experience'.... More
