We were let in through the large imposing doors into a little paradise. Immediately we were served mint tea and cookies. All of our answers were taken care of immediately. Parking was no problem on a street close by. Location is spectacular, we walked to the Ocean, casbah, garden, tomb then walked the market prior to deciding where to eat. We chose Restuarant du Liberation. Would highly recommend although. We have not had breakfast yet.

The Riad provides a quiet place near the bustling Medina action. The check in went smooth and some useful directions were provided (yes an elementary command of the French language is a pre when traveling in Morocco). The night watch was also a wonderful character who made me feel genuinely welcome. The bed was in a quiet and cozy corner where I did not use ear plugs, the breakfast buffet tasted better than elsewhere. I bumped into the decorations in the doorways but women will find that romantic.

Location: in the center of Rabat Medina. All main attractions (Kasbah des Oudayas, Hassan Tower, Rabat beach) are in walking distance just 10-15 minutes away. Accommodation: our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast: we loved it! Personnel: the girl on the reception was very friendly and helpful - she gave us city plan and explained us what to see, how to get there, where to eat. The housekeeper and younger man who served the breakfast were as well polite and friendly.

Ohhh,, I just remember how hard was to find the place and I am a local. After seeing the manager waiting for me and he guided me to the place by phone is like a trip to my chilldhood. My oncle use to own a place just like it in Tétouan and with my luck I stayed in the room Tétouan. Couldn't be more traditional Moroccan. The owner did a great job with place clean , quiet , good service, and in the heart of what Rabat Médina is. For the price it is a steal, and you are sourounded by food stands and great shopping. I stayed for family matter all the staff was gracious and professional. I do recommend highly for a true rabat old City experience.
