We stayed at El Maati for 3 nights, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The staff is fantastic: super attentive, kind, and generous (big thanks to Abdel, who made our stay truly magical). The food is amazing; probably the best meals we had during the entire trip. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautiful... More

Spent 3 days in Rabat and had an excellent stay. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, helping to reserve a taxi to pick us up from the airport, welcoming us upon arrival with a tour of the riad, map of the area and top places to visit. The Riad itself is beautiful, very clean and relaxing. I would recommend... More

We only visited the riad to enjoy the Moroccan hammam experience, and it was incredibly worth the visit!!! Fati, the hammam masseuse is very gifted and made you feel so at ease. The Morrocan hammam experience consisted of a body scrub with black soap and one hour of heavenly massage (including head massage). The whole experience ended with a delicious... More

Beautiful riad, slightly more modern feel to the classic riad. Wonderful breakfast, extremely friendly hosts/staff with great recommendations and tips for the area. Very convenient location, near Bab Chellah right in the medina. Fantastic stay, would absolutely stay there again.

My husband and I just got back from three weeks in Morocco, which was ended with the most delightful afternoon and night at the Riad El Maati. From the first greeting by Ebdu (sp), the tour of the facilities, his delivery of fresh orange juice, then the details of our room, this young man was the most exceptional ever. Also,... More

I immediately felt I was amongst friends. The staff were warm and caring without being obtrusive. The owner devoted a whole morning of his time to locate a camera part for me. He did this with quiet confidence and succeeded, heaven knows how!

A medina is always bubbling and fizzing. But sometimes you need a rest. After you have closed the door, you are in a oase of silence and rest. Great helpfull staff who also explained me how to cook Moroccan dishes. Loved it. Thanks. Andre the biker

I spent nearly two weeks at El Maati on a business trip. The location is excellent with easy access to Bab Chellah, which is especially convenient if you have bags, but also the location allows you to experience the medina. The care and attention of the staff really make this place special. Laurence, the owner, checks in nearly daily. The... More

Great riad in the middle of the medina. The rooms were great, solidly built, nicely lit, and relaxing to stay in. The staff was excellent, Miriam was courteous and even ran after us in the medina to deliver some high-value items that we carelessly left in the room! The common areas were very nice and relaxing to stay in...you could... More

Stayed in the family suite. Very comfortable. Large room split into a living area, bedroom and loft. Good amenities and nice bathroom. Loved the rooftop deck. Very nice welcome. Wonderful breakfast. Nice staff. Good location super close to souk yet still quite.
