The Riad is very well located in the medina of Meknes and all the interesting things are in walking distance. The place is well decorated, clean and comfortable. Fatima the owner ist very charming and helpful and had some good recommendations for restaurants and what to visit. Even explained us a lot of cultural things of morocco. The breakfast was... More

Meknes is much calmer than most Moroccan cities, its medina is small and comfortable. Riad Amazigh is right in the center of the medina and a perfect base not only to visit the city, but also the surrounding area. We stayed several days and took day trips to Rabat, Volubilis, the Atlas mountains and much more. Fatima is a splendid... More

A gorgeous riad, tastefully renovated with some fab pieces collected by the owner, Fatima. Situated in the middle of Meknes' very gentle and friendly medina - no hassles (unlike Fez etc) and small enough to get lost and found easily. We liked Meknes a lot - quite calm and friendly - largely untouristy and even the Ville Nouvelle was a... More

Great place and location. Fatima is a wonderful, interesting warm person, that makes you feel at home immediately. Next to Fatima, she also is surrounded by wonderfull staff taking good care of you. We would definitely go back to this place if ever coming to Meknes. Would love to spend more time with Fatima.

This was my favourite accommodation on my two week trip to Morocco. We stayed back in May 2013. It was absolutely beautiful, well maintaned, and had fantastic attention to detail. When we arrived there were not many rooms booked in for the night, so Fatima let us choose from all available rooms which one we wanted, rather than just giving... More

This riad is located in the medina. Upon arrival we are given tea and sweets while we await the owner / manager to show up which I thought was quite thoughtful. We are given our choice of room, upstairs or on the main floor. We choose the main floor so as to not lug our luggage up the small windy... More

The architecture of the riad is simply beautiful and unusual. It has a gorgeous terrace split on various levels which overlooks the roofs of the medina. Great to have breakfast or to look at the sky from this magic spot. We loved our spacious room, the food, the way it was served, the beautiful taste of ceramics..but amongst all we... More

Such welcoming and thoughtful service from the proprietor and staff of the Riad Amazigh made us immediately forget that the hotel was a bit more difficult to reach in the Mekness medina than we had imagined. We were served tea in the sitting room, which is located in the center of this traditional and lovely Moroccan residence before being shown... More

Really great place to stay! The riad has been beautifully restored with lots of old elements. The roofterras shows a great view of Meknes. We were welcomed wonderfully by the hostess as we where stuck and lost in the afternoon traffic of Meknes. She same to pick us up, had a wonderful meal on the terras and guided us to... More

My husband and I stayed in January. Hossein the manager is a wonderful host: he provided excellent directions, including hand drawn maps and led the kitchen in providing a spectacular dinner. It is definitely worth eating in at least one night--we were served two different soups (and since it was actually cold while we were there, these soups were wonderful--one... More
