If I could give you one good tip for visiting Marrakesh, it would be to stay at Riad Mur Akush.. We stayed at the end of May coming into June and temperatures got up to 42 degs C. The city was hot, busy and noisy, the Riad was an oasis of cool, quiet rooms and relaxed friendly staff who serve...

We stayed here for 3 nights in April and were very, very pleased with our choice! First I will say that staying in a raid in Marrakech is a unique and lovely experience. We chose a riad over a standard hotel because we wanted to get an authentic taste of life in Marrakech. Part of the allure of the medina,...

Great location-in easy walking distance of all major sites but far enough away to have peace and tranquillity. Helpful staff even during the ash chaos! The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. When the sink broke the plumber came within the hour to mend it-wish British service was as good! Can't wait to come back and share the...

We stayed in the Mur Akush for a couple of nights and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. As per other reviews on this site it was fantastic being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of marrakech back to the quite and cool riad. The rooms are a good size and beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable...

We spent eight extra nights at this riad because of the cancellation of our flight. Our extended stay was enhanced by the kindness of the staff. As the riad was empty due to the ash crisis our room was upgraded. The riad is ideally placed on the edge of the Medina and not far from the new city, it is...

Riad Mur Akush is a real gem. The personnel was extremely helpful, nice and attentive and the room very pleasant. The roof terrace really is an oasis of peace and quiet after a day in the Souks. Your Riad is certainly a place I can highly recommend and would happily revisit should I come back to Marrakesh!

This place satisfies from start to finish. Very friendly customer service before we even arrived, and very attentive when we got there. The staff at the riad are amazing. The rooms are fantastic and the location is great. We spent a lot of time searching for our ideal Marrakech riad, and happily we found it.

I travelled with two children ( 7 & 8) and stayed for four nights at this Riad. The room was lovely and the extra terrace and courtyard were great places to unwind. I needed to watch the decibal level of the kids as sounds travels easily in the Riad. The breakfasts were lovely and we had a great meal prepared...
