We simply loved the place although it was quite a stretch for our budget – it turned up in the tripadvisor selection of 1-50 US$ but it is far more expensive. Fortunately we got a discount that made it possible for us to stay there. All rooms are beautifully decorated and big. The staff is very, very friendly. The breakfast...

I recently went on my first of many trips to Morocco. The highlight of the trip was by far the Riad Mur Akush. They picked us from the airport and from the moment we entered the Riad it was such a fabulous experience. The staff there truly treated us as family and were there for our every need. We were collected at the airport and driven at speed through the city before arriving at a small wooden door with the words Riad Mur Akush across it. The riad is beautiful, very clean and the two different rooms we stayed in felt very luxurious. The staff were all very welcoming available at any time with information or help with...

I can absolutely endorse and echo previous comments on Riad Mur Akush. My wife, daughter and myself had 4 nights in two of the rooms, each of which was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated in the local style. The rooftop terrace and dining area were a great experience, with views right across the city. It truly was a welcome oasis...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in September 2011. The Riad was excellent, clean, beautifully decorated and very friendly. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. There is a beautiful roof terrace, with flower and plant, where you can have breakfast (which was the best I had in Morocco!) or just escape from the...

After a few days in the Atlas Mountains we finished off our trip to Morocco with three days in Marrakech. We wanted to stay in the Medina to get a real flavour of the city and thankfully we chose to stay in Riad Mur Akush. Truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the busy and hot streets. We...

During our 5 day stay in July 2011 we were practically the only guests in this lovely Riad. We were upgraded to the most expensive room at no extra cost. Rashid and his team took excellent care of us. We liked the area because it was easy wlaking distance to Jama el Fna while at same time being far enough...
