I have never stayed in a riad before, so was surprised and delighted when we got there. It felt as if we were transported back to an exotic past. My husband and I and two friends stayed at this riad for 4 nights. Our friends organised the booking, and we were picked up at the airport by the riad manager....

We spent 2 nights in Suite Amel before leaving on a 4 day tour then returned for a further 2 nights. The organisation happily accommodated this broken visit, indeed it seems to be a common practice. From first contact it was clear that this is a well-run Riad. Everyone is welcoming and efficient. Our room was clean, the bed large...

Was the lucky one to get a surprise weekend in Marrakech beginning of February 2013 and we stayed 2 nights at the charming Riad Mur Akush. Ahh... what a wonderful place, one feels at home straight away. A very friendly welcome, well organized check-in and absolutely helpful in every way. We had our room at the top floor, a big...

Morocco is bustling, noisy and full of salesmen, donkey-carts, horsedrawn carriages and mopeds. Without such a tranquil base to return to, we would soon have become exhausted. We enjoyed a picnic lunch on the roof-top terrace in warm sunshine (in February), with food we had purchased and brought back, having been provided with plates and cutlery when we asked. Tucked...

My sister and I stayed in Riad Mur Akush for 3 nights this past January. We loved it! We stayed in the Grand Suite Amel on the top floor and used the airport pick up service. We were picked up right on time and everything went smoothly. We were greeted with mint tea and pastries and from then on, the...

After reading the reviews on tripadvisor and seeing the pictures on the website I was very excited about our stay at the Mur Akush. I want to say that it was amazing, I want to say that I loved it; but I can't. There wasn't one big thing wrong with it, but I found it rather underwhelming and there were...

There are 100s of riads to choose from...but look no further! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, but they'll also leave you in peace if you wish. The food is delicious and you can eat your breakfast wherever you like. The rooms are spacious, tidy, and well decorated. The rooftop is peaceful and comfortable. The riad is located about...

Got a great last minute deal from the owner after writing her an email for a different riad. I mentioned how much I liked mur akush and she generously offered a lower rate. We stayed give nights and it felt like home. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing despite the bees and the staff was always helpful and cordial. The...

We decided on this Riad after extensive research (there are hundreds of Riad's to chose from!), we were definitely not disappointed!. Firstly if you do book this Riad I would recommend you arrange for them to pick you up from the airport (this cost us 15 euros). We were collected by Mohammed who spoke perfect English and was very friendly....
