Located in the middle of the historical sites of Marrakech formed by the El Badi Palace, Bahia, the Saadian Tombs and the Royal Palace, 5 minutes walk from Jemaa El Fna square, Riad Dar Alfarah is one of the more user-friendly guesthouses of the medina. To accommodate your dreams 10 rooms and (2 to 5 pers) combine Moroccan spirit and tradition. A large patio with a pool where upon arrival, Mohamed, Coralie ou Stephan will welcome you personally around a mint tea and traditional pastries. They will be available to answer your questions and help you discover Marrakech. The rooftop terrace has been converted to the comfort of our guests and their tranquility where you will be served a delicious cooking with colors Mediterranean and Moroccan. Breakfast riad is both continental and moroccan, through its various pancakes and fresh fruit juice, by its home made buns and breads, and seasonal fruit jams and by its surprises with milk or fresh fruits, made by Hafssa our cook. It is served on the patio around the pool, in our restaurant or on our rooftop terrace. The menu is an invitation to discover Moroccan cuisine but also international dishes revisited by Hafssa, plus "food allergies" special menus or "children" menu! For more choices, lunches and dinners are booking through our team as soon as possible.

Marrakech is hectic, loud and can be exhausting. But every time we came back to Riad Dar Alfarah it felt like entering a different world. Although the riad is very central in the Medina and we could walk everywhere, the surrounding is surprisingly quiet. The courtyard is a treat for the eyes and the rooftop terrace the perfect spot to relax. We used the pool and the courtyard for a photo session, because it really is stunning. The staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone speaks English and is helpful at all times. Especially the manager Mohammed was great. He sat down with us and drew a map of southern Morocco to give us recommendations for our road trip. Also a big thank you to Yasin who took care of us. Our room was on the ground floor next to the pool. The room is spacious, has storage space and a big bathroom. Water is hot and the pressure perfect. We used the pick up service of the riad to get from the airport to the riad and can absolutely recommend it. The driver Radouane was waiting for us when we landed. He is very nice and speaks fluently English. The car is new and clean. Definitely the best way to arrive stress free. Breakfast was plenty and tasty. It included Moroccan pancakes, fruits, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, bread, butter, marmalade, waffles and on one day even baguette with cream cheese. We also ate dinner at the riad next to the pool. The location is romantic and the food great. Definitely try the eggplants starter and the tajines. Marrakech offers many different accommodations, but I think we made the absolute right choice. By the way, Dar Alfarah means house of happiness. And we were very happy.

We had the most amazing stay at this Riad - we simply couldn't have picked a better one. Location is wonderful in the oldest part of the old town (Kasbah area towards the south of the Medina) which is a lot calmer than around the main square. It's only a 10 min walk to the main square so very easy to get there. The staff at the Riad were just wonderful, so helpful and friendly. And the breakfast! I've never seen our boys so excited about breakfast - crepes, waffles, jams, eggs - it was really delicious. Our room was really big (there were 4 of us in there but we had plenty of space) and the decor throughout was really beautiful. It was just lovely sitting up on the roof top terrace chilling on the sunbeds. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech. Thank you for making our stay so memorable :-)

My partner and I stayed at riad dar alfarah for 2 nights in sep 2019! We found our stay to be very enjoyable, relaxing and tasty! Mohammed, Yasin, and Khalid were excellent in accomodating our needs. We left early on the last day and they prepared a breakfast much before brekky time for us. We also tried the Hammam and massag here both of which were anazing! It is well located about a 10-15 min walk to the big square

We stayed for 3 nights in the family room on the 1st floor. 2 rooms and a bathroom with lovely shower. Room was very nice as well as the Riad. Mohammed and staffs were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good too. The Riad is in the old quarter near the Saadian Tombs, Jewish quarters, El Badi palace and Bahia Palace. Djemaa el Fna Sq and the souk are 10 to 15 minutes walk away. The narrow streets around the Riad are amazing, taking you back in time. Love the place and location. Would highly recommend.
