At Riad Emberiza Sahari, I found home. I had traveled to Morocco for a wedding, but added a few extra days at the beginning to travel in the Atlas Mountains and camel ride in the desert. I stayed at the Riad my first night of arrival and on my return, before moving to join the wedding party. Alexandra's easy staff were on hand as needed and made me feel very comfortable and cared for, without being intrusive. The rooms were beautifully designed and the beds were very comfortable. The various common spaces felt private. I could converse with friends with ease. The roof terrace a wonderful spot for a glass of wine at sunset.
We spent tow day in this lovely place. The staff is very friendly you feel from the first minute you enter the Riad very comfortable. You can walk from the Riad direct into the Medina and if you require a guide, the Riad will organize it for you.
Have been staying at the Riad for at least six years. It is great to see the owner Alexandra , as friendly and entertaining as always. Omar has been working at Emberiza Sahari since the opening and provides his best. Abdou and Wafa do an incredible job. The roof terrace has a newly renovated gazebo with green tiling and furniture which look stunning. The same for the pond and water feature. With the great weather I spent some time in the refreshing pool. The orange and lemon trees provide some oasis atmosphere. Delicious food and the place exudes a casual sophistication all around. Superb breakfast next to the pool.
To be honest I would rather keep this fabulous place a secret so am writing this somewhat reluctantly! This riad is absolutely stunning and in a great location for exploring Marrakech. It is a sublimely elegant and peaceful retreat; exquisitely decorated in a soothing and restrained palette. The gorgeous turquoise pool framed by beautiful citrus trees is so pretty. Alexandra the lovely owner is a discretely attentive host and was so helpful with dinner reservations etc and ensuring we had a great stay. We enjoyed an incredible supper cooked by the lovely Wafa and daily breakfast with fresh local ingredients was a real joy. We so enjoyed the relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere of this special place and would return in a heartbeat.
We found the perfect hotel for our 2nd stay in Marrakesh. Alexandra the host and the staff; Wafa, Mohamed, Omar and Ilham, made our 5 days memorable for life. The Riad is situated nearby everything we wanted to see. Just coming *home* after a long day exploring this exciting city, was just awesome. Everything so clean and beautiful, and we felt so welcoming. Any questions we had, they where answered and Alexandra gave us very good help by organising our last day. We can highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for the real thing in Marrakesh.
As a group of six friends, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay in Marrakech. One leaves the busy commotion of the neighbouring streets and enters a peaceful and elegant oasis. Hostess Alexandra was welcoming, helpful and gracious in giving us great tips, local savvy and interesting suggestions for our four-day stay. Her staff was courteous and flexible whether it was to help secure a taxi or to whip up refreshing cocktails after a long day out. Her cook served up a healthy and fresh breakfast every morning in the beautiful courtyard as well as outcooked all of the restaurants we sampled - simply delcious! For anyone looking for a trouble-free and relaxing true Moroccan experience, Riad Embarazi Sahari is the place. Hope to make it back.
Great place with very attentive hospitality. We particularly enjoyed the dinner they prepared for us. It was an oasis after hustle and bustle of the day. We also enjoyed the lovely atmosphere they had maintained for us
Made our stay in Marrakech as Alexandra the owner has impeccable taste in decor and has created a beautiful haven and compliments it with delicious food and genuine friendliness. She couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable and personally ensures all of her guests feel at home. A unique experience …..so much more memorable than a large hotel.
We started our first time visit to Marrakesh with a 2nts stay at Riad Emberiza. Alexandra is a wonderful host and she takes care of every detail. We felt like „at home“ The Riad is a small hidden jewel. A super starting point to explore the Medina of Marrakesh. Highly recommended - 🔝🔝🔝🌟🌟🌟
Wow. My family and I had such a special time here. It was truly magical. Staying at the Riad Emberiza is like staying with a best friend. You feel so at home and relaxed here. It's the perfect tonic to hectic days out in the Medina. You enter the door to this beautiful oasis and breath a sigh of relief as the birds flutter and sing around you and the sound of cascading water reverberates around the Riad!... Alexandra, the beautiful owner told my kids the only rules at her place were...there were no rules! We dunked in the pool, we played games on the roof top, we ate incredible food, and drunk delicious wine..I played the piano....I'm already missing the place. The decor is beautiful and it has a magic to it. Her advice on Marrakesh and where to go and what to see is invaluable, always making us feel at ease. We will return. It made our trip. Thanks to Alexandra and her staff for being so lovely.…
