10* Luxury Romantic Honeymoon Destination We had the best honeymoon we could have ever asked for. From arriving with our private transfer to our welcome drinks and treats, the most amazing decor, room, food, cocktails, wine selection, spa treatments (must must try!) music (pianist, one night we were the only guest eating by candle light listening to the most amazing player/singer I cried!) and most importantly the people, from the bottom of our hearts thank you the most! The entire Riad was filled with the most amazing smell we had to buy some to take home and highest quality of everything from sheets, hand soap, speakers in our room and crockery. We were given our own phone for the week so we could contact the concierge day and night, we had the best day trips and tours organised and my husband had around 5 spa treatments he loved it so much. Exceptional service our ranking any hotel or resort we have stayed in globally. After a shopping trip the Riad organised expert shipping for a beautiful antique mirror which arrived timely and impeccable care. I often dream of our trip and will be forever thank full. We can’t wait to return 😇

We could not have hoped for more from our six days at the Riad Noir d’Ivoire in Marrakesh from the meet and greet service, as we stepped onto the tarmac at Marrakesh airport, to the hand made soap in our beautiful room, everything was perfect. We were safety delivered to the hotel with a seamless handover from the airport staff to the hotel limo, walked to the Riad with our bags in a handcart and greeted with warm towels to cleanse after our journey before being served with mint tea and shown around the Riad, being introduced to staff as we went round. Our room was beautifully prepared with rose petals and candles and bottle of champagne (from the romance package) which we really enjoyed. The Hamman was excellent, as was the food throughout our stay. Plentiful and varied breakfast choices, a great wine selection and varied evening menu made for a great stay. I was even serenaded on my birthday by the staff and, on request, the chef prepared a traditional tagging especially for us. The hotel Rooms Division Manager, Hamza Taoufik, deserves a special mention as he arranged a special cookery course for us at another Riad as this one was not currently offering classes, the cookery course was excellent (and has been reviewed separately). Hamza coordinated our stay from our first booking to the special tagine for my birthday, he arranged tickets for the Majorelle Gardens (to save us queueing) and really made our stay delightful - through to arranging a room for us to use on the day we were leaving to a car to take us to the airport. All of this with a politeness and friendliness that, as with all the staff, made us not only feel valued as customers but as though our enjoying our holiday really was important to them, more as though we were staying with special friends than just being guests in this relaxed and beautiful Riad. The only part of our stay which was disappointing was the caleche tour and it was not the fault of the hotel that we were sent the scruffiest and dirtiest carriage, with cushions held on with staples, it stank of stale sweat, with a soiled canopy, worse, was the unkept horses with bridles held together with random knots and patches of other fabrics. The driver periodically yelled at us what we took to be places of interest as he took us round. If choosing this option ask to select your carriage - as most were spotlessly clean with well groomed horses and divers who are happy to explain the route you are being taken. All in all, a wonderful holiday, so much so that we hope to come back to this Riad next Spring as there is so much of Morocco and Marrakesh to explore and the Riad, and staff made this a wonderful base.

Stayed in the honeymood sweet for 3 nights. Pros: Staff: we were greeted by Yaz who was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to take care of us. Everyone was extremely courteous, with Mousa notable. Hamzaa (Rooms Division Manager) took it to another level. He was extraordinarily helpful, happy to spend time setting things up for us, extremely professional, and today (the day after we checked out) he has sent an email with a further enquiry about my wife's mishap, as to whether she's doing fine. Great guy. There are only 7 suites and 2 normal rooms, and ours was a gem. Spiral stone staircase to a split level sitting room, going up into the main bedroom with study area, a vast bath, and up more stairs to the rooftop jacuzzi. Just watch your head when you get out... Cons: The saxophonist who played two nights running in the dining room, a.) had the exact same playlist both nights and b.) was much too loud, making normal conversation (in an intimate dining space) almost impossible. The starters, sides, desserts and hors d'hoevres were good-very good, but the Moroccan entrees (particularly the tajine - the most Moroccan of dishes) were on the bland side.

We stayed at Riad Noir d’Ivoire during 3 nights in january 2020, and we absolutely LOVED it. I’m not lying if I say it’s the best ”hotel” experience I’ve ever had, and then I’ve been travelling alot. The service is just amazing. Hamza and the other staff were incredibly helpful with everything from arranging drivers and tour guides (we even got a cell phone to carry with us so that we could reach the Riad at any time), to lighting the fire in our rooms and tapping up a bath in the beautiful authentic bathroom. The food in the restaurant (which by the way was one of the coziest dining areas I’ve ever been to) was top notch and there was a great pianist playing and singing every evening. I even sang with him one evening. The Riad has a big indoor pool and a jaccuzzi, and when we thought the water was a bit too cold, they immediately fixed it for us, and heated the whole pool. The spa treatments were really nice as well, but I can’t stress enough about our room! God it was so beautiful, and so cozy! Thank you Hamza and the rest for making our Marrakech stay so memorable and fantastic! Thanks for an experience far beyond our expectations! We will recommend your lovely Riad to everyone who’s travelling to Marrakech.

It was our first time in Morocco and we had a great time in this gem of a riad. A quiet tranquil haven in the busy town of Marrakech. It was kept very clean, breakfast was so tasty and the staff in particular were super friendly and helpful. Hamza was an amazing host....... nothing was too much trouble to help with, arranging a range of activities, camel ride, quad biking, a walking tour and organising a lovely birthday dinner with pianist included! I would definitely recommend the hammam and the relaxing massage. They were so luxurious and expertly executed. I would 100% recommend staying here and would love to return.
