Peaceful, beautiful, refined. Riad Tzarra is an elegant house in one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Marrakech. Lovingly restored by the renowned architect, Christophe Siméon, Riad Tzarra offers guests a comfortable and serene home in the centre of the Medina, close to the Musée de Marrakech and the Medersa Ben Youssef and only minutes from the entrance to the Souks and the Place Jemaa el Fna.

    Beautiful Riad & incredible Host's
Riad Tzarra is a beautiful, traditional, peaceful Riad that when you walk in feels like your a million miles away from the hustle & bustle of Jama El f’na Market & surrounding Souks but little do you know it's a short walk away. Myself & my partner where greeted at the airport by a representative of Riad Tzarra who then took us too Avenue Bab El Khemis where we were met by a luggage porter who rapidly showed us the way to Riad Tzarra. (This was pre arranged over email) As soon as we stepped through the door we where greeted by the lovely welcoming staff with mint tea and lots of helpful advice from Touni who even gave us his personal mobile number in case we got into any trouble. We had a couples hammam massage at Riad Tzarra which was absolutely brilliant so relaxing after a long day out on our feet I could not recommend this highly enough. It relaxed me so much I fell too sleep and gave my partner a little chuckle with my snoring. Overall had an absolutely wonderful stay l would recommend anyone who is going to Marrkech to stay here. Thankyou too everyone at Riad Tzarra Andrew & Marie

Perfect hideaway in the hectic Medina
We got a warm welcome and a very nice room on the first floor. Breakfast was very nice on the terrace. We experienced a relaxing hamam and massage. The staff helped us to find our way in the city and always organized the needed trips and drivers. We can recommend 100%

The riad is found down a maze of little streets. We were met at the airport and taken there by taxi then a porter took our bags the rest of the way. The staff were fantastic and really took care of us. Breakfasts were freshly prepared and varied and served with a smile. Tea and coffee always on offer and Hossein gave us great advice and help in finding places. We had a hammam and massage which was lovely and a great lamb tagine on arrival. Hossein organised us getting to our next destination. Thank you to everyone at Riad Tzarra, we would recommend staying here.

Strong recommend if you are looking for somewhere close to Jemaa El-Fnaa Square and many other attractions but not too central. As soon as the door was opened and we crossed the threshold, Zakaria the night/morning porter was caring and courteous. Nothing was ever too much for him being our very early breakfasts or taking a meal on the roof terrace and hauling trays upon trays three floors up. The food prepared by Naima was brilliant and fresh. She thoughtfully checked upon us for any meal we took there. Our room was more than adequate for what we required. Clean and cool (air conditioned) suitably laid out for both storage and relaxation. If you have any mobility issues though this could be tricky, as stairs were everywhere in the Riad. Finding the Riad is initially tricky as it is situated on a closed in square of streets. On the very back street to the entrance. Do not accept guidance from the cute kids who will try and get as much money from you as possible! Bonus point of a Hammam spa in the Riad. Very affordable and a great addition to our Sunday. Coming out fresh and relaxed. Great work Mohamed to you and your team. We wish you all the best.

Thank you for a fantastic stay at this beautiful Riad in the midst of Marrakesh old medina. The shock that awaits you when you arrive from the airport with taxi and are dropped of at the place Moukef on the outskirts of the old medina is like a slap in the face. Thankfully the Riad had provided someone to guide us through the the maze and hustle and bustle to the Riad. When you cross the door into the Riad Tzarra a fantastic breeze of tranquility will enchant you. The ambiance is of forlorn days and we got the treatment like the sultans. Breakfast on the roof terrace. Dinner in the “courtyard”, Hammam and massage. Thank you to all at the Riad who made this experience so wonderful, and a special thank you to the chef Naima which introduced us to some fantastic Moroccan dishes.

A woderful hidden gem in the bck steets of Marrakech within easy walking distance of the main swuare and the souks. The staff are so friendly and helpful. You must try having an evening BBQ on the rooftop as it is magical looking out over the city

Our stay in Riad Tzarra could not have been better. The Riad itself is well appointed. Perhaps there are better (and more expensive) places to stay but the Riad has all the comforts you would want for a city break in the Medina (including good hammam facilities). All the rooms are well appointed and the terrace and inner courtyard are excellent places for meals in or relaxing. The location is handy for the souks and restaurants in the medina. We arrived to an excellent lunch on the terrace and I would recommend eating in: it is every bit as good as restaurants in town. What sets this place apart is the home from home atmosphere and the unfailingly helpful and cheerful staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they kindly arranged both restaurant bookings, treatments and (recommended) a day trip into the mountains. If you are planning a trip to Marrakech, make sure that this is on your list!

My daughter and I stayed here on our first trip to Marrakech and how lucky were we. From the moment we arrived until our departure 3 days later we were spoilt by the team here. Breakfast was lovely, all freshly cooked and more than we could eat. We were given good advice about taxi's, tipping and buying spices!. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone. Also the streets leading back to the Riad at night were well lit, so no worries there either. Just a great stay.
