My partner and I have just returned from our first stay at the Sensimar Medina Gardens and our first time in Morocco. We were both dubious after reading some reviews on here but we were both very pleasantly surprised throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself, yes, could do with a revamp here and there but it wasn't anything major...

Hotel - Is very well kept and cleaned everyday. Rooms are of decent size but are a little tired. Bathrooms look a little old and main rooms could just do with a new lick of paint. Cleaned everyday to a great standard. The grounds are very well kept and looked after. Gardens look amazing. Good entertainment everyday, was very fun....

The hotel is situated within a short walking distance from the Koutoubia. The gardens are like an oasis in really hot weather, cool, breezy, relaxing. The 2 pools provide a quiet or a more active and lively place to spend the day. The food is spectacular, with a great focus on local cuisine, beautifully presented and the drinks are served...

The hotel is in a great location and being adults only makes it a great getaway. With new Marrakech 15 min walk and the souks 5 mins the other way you couldn't ask for a better place. The hotel itself has beautiful gardens and 2 nice pools. The hotel could do with a refurb as it is quite worn around...

** Hotel Location ** This hotel could not be any more ideally situated in Marrakesh. It is right next to the Soukes and within a 10 minute walk to the main square. It has the madness of the old town right outside, but is surrounded by a wall making it peaceful and relaxing inside the grounds. The security is excellent...

My Boyfriend and I came to Marrakech for his Birthday and we knew from the start this hotel wasn't going to be great. We arrived early in the morning (3am) so were all very tired, we all had to sit outside and complete some of their paperwork which could have waited until the morning? Anyway, when we eventually got to...

Nice hotel , lovely gardens. Attentive staff apart from would be "Tom Cruise"-- he wasn't! Rooms dated and the wardrobe doors were awful. Food plentiful and varied but eat early when fresh and hot. We got upset stomachs on the last 3 days which spoiled our plans. We had only eaten in the hotel so guessing it was from there....

The hotel is lovely, but a little tired in places. The staff are fabulous apart from the reception staff who to be quite frank are rude! We had a late night flight, should have been 9pm, but Thomson did there usual trick of changing it, just after we had paid ! So the fligh ended up being a 2 am...
