I always book Adult inky hotels and chose this one based on previous reviews for my first visit to Marrakech. From the minute we arrived the staff were so friendly & helpful, we arrived mid-morning & our room wasn't ready but we explored the beautiful gardens and had lunch, so much choice of either hot or cold options including Moroccan tagine, salads etc as well as chicken nuggets & chips for the not so adventurous. Next morning we couldn't get a sunbed by the pool (the numbers are restricted due to covid so fewer beds as they have to be spaced out) but it was no issue as there were plenty scattered around the garden areas and near the small pool. Staff are excellent and can't do enough for you, spa was brilliant, the girls in there make you feel so comfortable and relaxed, and the Tui reps were on hand all the time for advice etc. We came as strangers to this beautiful country & hotel but definitely left as family and hope to be back soon. Everything was top notch, covid safety measures were great and we spoke to a lot of guests who have returned several times, always a good sign in my opinion, can't wait to come back!

Avoid, the only reason is the management, they do not like to be critiqued. Numerous people complained and we were told we are the first to do so. Arrived to a friendly welcome at the gated property and a very organised booking in system only to be led to a room that smelled of sewage. I made the manager aware of the smell amd they sent one person to perform a smell test and another to wipe down the air conditioning unit to which they contributed the smell. I spoke to the manager on arrival to the room and stipulated I did not want to be moved to a pool facing room or an upgrade as my preference was to be moved to a room that didn't smell foul. We were moved to the quiet side of the hotel free of the sewage smell which was great the cleanliness of this room and lack of smell made our experience improve. The manager then said I requested a pool side view which was the reason I asked for the move this was not true. The manager did everything possible to avoid the issues instead or resolving. The front of house were the same denying any responsibility for poor customer service and found this to be the worst part of my experience at this hotel. Numerous people complained of sickness and diarrhea to which we were told no one else complained 2 stars due to the amazing bar staff/waiters and entertainment tui staff who went out of their way to make you feel welcome and the location of the property. Last couple of things we were told they do daily checks on cleanliness in the hotel we have photographic evidence of a hair in my apple pie, dirty cups and make sure your up at 6 for a sunbed around the pool. I'm sure if you read previous posts management will try and vilify you evidence is available on chipguzzler@googlemail.com email me.

Upon arrival at the hotel everything was clean and modern room was nice and the staff that welcomed us were friendly, when i booked with tui I couldn’t upgrade my room so i asked at reception about the jacuzzi rooms or swim up rooms and i got told the were fully booked they didn’t give me an option of moving a few days in just a clear no. 24 hours into my holiday and after 3 meals that were awful, the meat was fatty and hard to chew the bread was that stale you needed a steel jaw tho chew through it and an angle grinder to cut it and the salad would be the same all day that bad the cheese would be changing colour and other salads were that dried out it was like eating dust. The next morning i went to complain to the male rep Khalid who decided that all he wanted to tell me is that nobody else had complained and was very argumentative in his approach he then called a lady over from reception who was one of the managers who decided she wanted an argument telling me i dont like anything about the hotel which wasn’t the case the issues were there poor quality of food the race for sun-beds in the morning and the Que for the 1 bar that was open in the hotel, Khalid said the sun-bed issue was because of covid but you couldn’t of put anymore sun-beds around the pool if you tried all he did was make up excuses and had no resolutions just made me out to be a liar. The next day i went down and noticed there was a different rep called Emma who was very helpful and took the criticism on board and tried come up with a few resolutions but they lasted all of 24 hours and we were back to square one, the more people i spoke to in the hotel the more people mentioned how bad the food was but as Khalid did his rounds speaking to the guests they all said the same he would dismiss any complaints by saying nobody else had complained, the second week came and we come across a few people who had fell ill in regards to the food including me and my partner and couldn’t leave there room because you needed the toilet every 2 seconds, when the rep was approached with this he said it must be the food outside the hotel and if it wasn’t he will get a doctor which would cost around £50 for him to come out to check if were actually ill. To be honest i asked about moving hotels early in the holiday and i should of because the manager and the male rep were terrible and had a bad attitude the whole holiday like the people who were complaining were the issue not there poor customer service or the standard of food for a 4 star plus hotel. As this holiday was for my 30th i was hoping i could upgrade rooms and as I mentioned at the start they said no availability, i then met multiple couple who had upgrade throughout the holiday who arrived after me and i was never given that option and the only reason i can think is that they went out of there way to make me feel unwelcome after the day i complained and they had no intentions of making things right, i have never been to a hotel that was so highly rated with such a poor standard of service bad food 20 minutes in a Que in the evening for a drink in a room with no air-con. I could literally go on and on about the bad points of this hotel i wouldn’t recommend it to anybody but there were a few positives both the activity ladies were very nice talkative polite and kept people going with stuff to do, Emma one of the reps was also nice and the bar staff and cleaners were also very nice. Its just a shame as the whole two weeks of my holiday were ruined by the bad customer service and the food that you wouldn’t serve in a prison, the 2 starts are for the staff that were nice and made effort if it wasn’t for those few people you would be getting 0 and more than likely you will reply to this with more excuses instead of doing the job your meant to do and actually listen to the customers opinions not argue with them.

What an amazing city Marrakech.., amazing people and a beautiful Hotel.. We booked a week in this stunning Hotel in a normal room then had the chance to upgrade to a suit with jacuzzi ones there thanks to the Manager Rachida who took care personally.., From the start to the end the staff were excellent , always smiling and willing to help , Big thank you to all bar staff ( Dounia, Omar, Mohcin, Mohamed , Kawtar ,Latifa…), they were always on the run after us to get us drinks and snacks. 10/10 on Covid mesures and The food at the hotel is delicious and has a very big variety and it’s so tasty , Everything we tried was very good and we highly recommend you to book in the Culinarium restaurant the food there was exquisite, Don’t hesitate to get a spa treatment, we had the full hamam experience and body massage , so relaxing.. The Tui team and receptionists were also everyday at the hotel to help with tipps about the city and excursions (thanks Alicia , Khaled, Abdessamia …) ( No need to worry about exchanging money as you can do that at the reception) We came to you as guests but leaving as friends .., but we will be back again.. We can’t name all the staff but everybody at the hotel was so friendly, we never came to any hotel with such a great staff

Well…what can we say! As soon as we arrived we knew our stay was going to be perfect and we were not disappointed! Every single member of staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. The rooms were lovely, bright and comfortable with sufficient air conditioning- we found ourselves having to turn it down!! The minibar was stocked daily with water, Pepsi and Fanta. Special mention to Mr Hussen the manager who was visibly present and walked around talking to guests and checking if there was anything else the hotel could do. The food was always hot and there was fantastic choice, something for everyone! There were themed evenings and the Moroccan evening was a particular treat complete with traditional music! The chefs were always on hand to help and the head chef deserves a mention for his service and general attention to detail. The manager in the restaurant was superb - she even noticed that one member of our party had a bad hand and carried their food - genuine kindness! The pool areas were always clean and tidy and the gardens kept immaculately. The turtles were a treat. There was plenty of choice for drinks from cocktails to coffee. The staff were attentive and always kept your drink topped up. The Tui rep Khalid was truly an asset and when one of our party was unwell worked with the hotel to arrange a doctor. Credit to Mohammed in the restaurant who offered to go and get the prescription- what a gentleman! All in all we will be returning many times in the future and recommend this hotel for the perfect most relaxing stay!
