I was weary about my visit after reading other reviews, and my gut instinct was right. The riad is 20 mins drive from the main square and this is a problem as most taxi drivers don't want to visit the "poor area" On arrival the staff were helpful and pleasant offering us mint tea and water and showed us to... Stayed here with my friend for a few days. The hotel was simple but lovely, pool area and food were amazing. Even though we stayed there during the time of Ramadan the staff were always so attentive and helpful even though they must have been exhausted. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you into the centre which goes... More

Just back from 5 day visit to Marrakech, staying at Las Palmeras. When arriving for the first time you do appear to be driving through a run down wasteland but the riad is tucked behind a gated entrance, a lovely little oasis! The staff are very friendly and helpful, they really can't be faulted. Best to be aware that if... More

Stayed here as a group, we had 2 rooms between the 7 of us. Very cosy and calm atmosphere with very authentic themes and colours around the hotel. The Hospitality was the best we had experienced in Marrakech, the Manager Idris, and staff were amazing, from the initial welcome, complimentary Moroccan tea to meeting our needs and providing a quality... We stayed for one week my sister and I. Cheap week for our birthday. Transfers from airport about half and hour. Shuttle bus takes you back and forth into Marrakech. We were treated very well taken to and collected from our trips, given lots of advice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Extremely chilled place. Taste of the real Marrakech. We... More

On a tight budget and debating where to go for a quick peaceful holiday, we stumble upon Las palmeras, at a ridiculously cheap price of £130 for a week bed and breakfast, I have travelled extensively and stayed in hostels right through to very grand exotic hotels, so for a £130 I was just expecting a bed and some form... In Morocco this would be considered 4 star but in reality for tourists it is far from that. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there is only one English channel on the tv, the air conditioning in our room ( superior room) didn't work, beds not that comfortable. First night we were starving and were not offered any food,... More

Me and a friend stayed there for 3 nights. Having read the reviews we were a little worried about our stay. For the price we thought it was wonderful. Although it's a little out from the medina there was a free shuttle that went 2 times a day. The staff were wonderful. It's small and has 13 rooms. In particular... More

this was not the hotel we thought we were staying at and at first my impression was OH MY GOD !! I am not a fan of a kaleidoscope of colour and the foyer was that...the rooms on the other hand were drab and dreary with poor lighting and shabby furniture. However the staff were lovely and we had a... More
