This was our second visit to this lovely quiet Riad just on the edge of the Medina. Joelle the owner is a wonderfully helpful hostess. She will arrange a taxi to meet you at the airport and a barrow boy to take your cases from the taxi along the alley ways to her Riad, where you are welcomed with mint...

I was there with a group of friends and we all found it fantastic. It's in the Medina, vibrant hart of the Medina Unesco World Heritage. Clean, delicious breakfast and a spectacular view from the terrace. Joelle is a perfect Host. I definitely reccomend to stay here when visiting Marrakech.

We had a fantastic time at the Riad Kalila. Joelle made as feel very welcome from the first minute on and even showed us around the medina so we could find our way back easily, she made sure our stay would be a great one, organising cabs, making sure we got safely from the airport and to the airport safely....

Joelle, the owner of this small riad made us very welcome - we just wished that we could have spoken better French! The house is full of small, thoughtful touches that combine traditional Moroccan domestic architecture with French sensibility. Although apparently tucked away, by Marrakech standards it is by easily accessible from both Bab Laksour and the souks. We found...

We stayed at the Riad Kalila for 3 nights to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday and thought it was absolutely wonderful. Centrally located, quiet, clean, plenty of hot water, a lovely rooftop terrace and Joelle who owns and runs the Riad couldn't have been more genial or gracious. She arranged taxis for us and even a cake and champagne for...

Just a few minutes away from the madly busy Jemaa el-Fna square and within the old medina, Riad Kalila was truly a little haven of peace and tranquillity, with clean, comfortable rooms and a lovely top terrace from which we could see the town while hearing the bird song. The proprietor Joelle was very accomodating and helpful, ensuring our stay...

We spent four nights here, which was really well located both for the medina and for access to Gueliz. On arrival we had organised to have lunch and on our last night also booked a dinner at the riad, which I would totally recommend as being both good value and delicious! The rooms were clean and very comfortable, the bathrooms...

Riad Kalila is a great place to stay in Marrakech. We stayed here in July 2008, the Riad is in a great location within the Medina, a residential area that is nice and quite and is only 5 mins walk to the main square. We stayed in the Croix du Sud room which was located just off the roof terrace....

Riad Kalila is a quiet and beautifully-adorned oasis set amidst the chaos and bustle of the Red City. My friend and I stayed at the terrace room (croix de sud, one night) and the two twin-beds room (chant de dune, four nights), and found both rooms to be comfortable and cozy (note: no bathroom doors!). Joelle, the owner/host, goes above...
