From start to finish, the staff at Riad Sapphire ensured our trip to Marrakech was very special. Not only did we have our own lovely room and bathroom, the Riad also had beautiful indoor seating spaces, a courtyard and amazing roof terrace. Everything was presented with care and exceptionally clean. As we arrived late we took advantage of the opportunity to eat at the Riad on our first night - what a fantastic introduction to Marrakech cuisine! The location meant we could walk to all the sights with the exception of our very special trip to the Atlas Mountains all organised for us by Asma.

Riad Sapphire & Spa is absolutely wonderful! A beautiful riad with a gorgeous courtyard and rooftop terrace, generously appointed suite and all the staff were absolutely wonderful.
From the moment you step into the riad, the bustle of the Medina is forgotten as it's so tranquil and every corner smells absolutely divine. The courtyard with the dipping pool is calming and gorgeous too. All the rooms have functioning AC and the call to prayer sounded quite distant in the morning when the AC was on, it was no bother.
Abdul and Driss were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and nothing was too much of a bother. Abdul arranged activities for us (quad biking, trip to Essaouria etc), advised where to go, recommended wonderful places to eat in the Medina and new town. We only needed to tell him what time we wanted to set off to each activity and it was all arranged without a hitch! He even helped arrange a room in another riad for our last day as our flight wasn't until 9pm and we had forgotten to extend our stay at the Sapphire, so it was unfortunately booked up. We were offered use of the courtyard and the terrace if we preferred.
Breakfast is included and is delightful, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice and fresh bakes - I got omelettes when I requested and it's a good breakfast to start your day off.
The rooms are lovely and quiet and we experienced the hammam in the morning of our last stay which was beyond wonderful.
All in all a superb 5 star riad in a great location and amazing staff, you'll certainly enjoy your stay!
Thank you Abdul and Driss, you made our first visit to Marrakech a dream, we wish you the best!

Very happy with our stay at Sapphire Riad, the property itself is lovely. Quiet, clean and an oasis
of calm after the chaos of the Medina.
No more than 25 minutes by taxi from the airport and at the north west side of the
Medina, within walking distance to all the major sights but we did get a taxi back to the Riad
from the Fnar square on one occasion as it was very hot. Taxis are cheap-if you haggle!
We were greeted by the wonderful Abdo who served us Mint tea and delicious cake on arrival
and throughout our stay was always on hand, along with his colleague, to assist in any way he
could, including ringing a local restaurant to book a reservation. Nothing was too much trouble.
The bedroom was lovely and spacious with a walk-in shower and very efficient air-con, there is
a small plunge pool and several delightful quiet public areas to sit and also a roof top terrace to
sit in the sun if preferable.
Breakfast was particularly impressive, beautifully presented with a huge array of delicious
savoury and sweet items which varied everyday (the chocolate cake was particularly good!) all
served by the delightful staff.
We would not hesitate to stay at this Riad again and highly recommend

A beautiful Riad with kind, helpful and attentive staff. Asma organised our pick up from the hotel and we had a delicious dinner waiting for us which we preordered. The rooms were clean, spacious and had lovely touches. We braved the Hammam which was a real experience - I have never been so clean in my life! It is a 15 minute walk to the centre of the Medina, shopping and souks - the perfect location for us as it was quiet, with a gorgeous rooftop to look over the city. Breakfast was generous, with a different offering every day. Would definitely go back.

My family and I stayed at this riad over New Year's Eve. The riad is beautifully decorated, and the breakfast is diverse and delicious. Asma and the staff were very hospitable, and they were always attentive to our needs and willing to escort us through the Medina at various times of day. Definitely would stay here again!

The Riad is in a good clean and airy location with a great welcome from the staff. It's clean spacious with a traditional courtyard which is immaculate. The food was good but the outstanding feature was the staff who were led by Asma, the Manager. They were helpful and never without a smile. We had a large spacious suite with a good bathroom with the only disappointment being the lack of tea making facilities. Thank you.

100% recommend this fabulous riad. Rooms are lovely with large, comfortable beds and hot showers. Delicious breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, cakes and breads. Fabulous roof terrace for relaxation and views over the city. Excellent service from Driss and Abdul who walked us to and from taxi drop off points and were there to meet our every need. The riad is ideally placed in a quiet part of the medina, with no more than a 10-20 minute walk to all the main sites and the souqs. We recommend the full day cooking tour to the Atlas mountains that you can arrange through the riad.

This is a calm and pleasant oasis well located to the north of the main Medina area. The rooms are very clean, well appointed, and hot water and aicon works great. WiFi probably 7/10, completely fine unless your daughter is trying to livestream a nic cage marathon (!).
What makes this wonderful is abdo, the assistant manager who organises everything, serves everything, with a kind and cheerful manner, even in mid Ramadan when energies often lapse. So much so, that he would get the numbers of our tour guides to call them to check we were having a nice excursión, and to be sure to meet us when we returned. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Travelled with my friend and had the two junior suites on the ground floor. Riad is perfectly located just outside of the souks and easy walking distance from everywhere you’d want to visit. Abdo and all the staff are by far the kindest and most helpful team ever and nothing is ever too much trouble. Really easy to arrange transfers and amazing hamman! Perfect and peaceful location and fabulous trip. Thanks to all for making it great!

Delighted we booked this gem of a hotel . From our arrival to our departure the excellent hospitality did not waiver.
Every request was honoured and both Abdo and Driss did their upmost to ensure our stay there was perfect.
We ate at the Riad on our first night and the food was delicious and plentiful. We also booked a’ couples ‘ Salt/Spa treatment which we would highly recommend.
The Riad is immaculate and very tranquil in its setting. We slept very well!
The whole team are exceptional hosts and we would definitely stay there again.
Thank you again, and keep up the good work Team Saphire!
Sam & Ally.
