We had such a lovely stay here. The blue room is gorgeous (and huge) and every part of Dar Darma feels special: the rooftop, courtyard, dining room, common spaces. Breakfast on the rooftop and dinner by candlelight were both special treats - and the Riad is conveniently located to a number of fantastic nearby restaurants. The best part of our stay, however, was the service. Isham, Sayeed, Maria, and the entire team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and helped us with everything we needed plus more. Thank you!!

Very nice Riad in the center of Marakech in the Médina. It’s an old building with traditional furniture and a shabby chick. The service of the Riad is excellent. Thank you to Maria and Hicham, but also to the rest of the staff!!!

Riad Dar Darma is a gorgeously decorated enchanting place, from the entrance, courtyard, to rooftop swimming pool. Despite the busy street scenes, once you are inside the Riad, it is so quiet that you totally forget the hustle and bustle of the Old City. The services the staff provided have completely surpassed our expectations or our past experiences with other hotels. For example, when we could not find the Riad the day we arrived, someone from the Riad came to meet us at a shop (where we were stranded) in the City. Similarly, when we were checking out and leaving for a desert tour, he also walked us to our van pick up location. The breakfast on the rooftop was absolutely lovely with white linens, freshly brewed coffee, warm milk, home baked goods, and homemade yogurt! They even offered to serve us the breakfast at 5:00 a.m. once they learned that we had to leave early in order to meet our tour group! The room was like pages from the National Geographic and outright fabulous! I'd highly recommend Riad Dar Darma and would definitely stay there if we get a change to visit Marrakech again.

A huge thank you Masami S for your review. It was our pleasure indeed to have you as our guests. Have a lovely year ahead and do not hesitate a minute to get in touch again. A lot of events take the scene in Marrakech thoughout the year from art to cinema, to sport, to culture...so you just need to pick up your favourite and plan your venue again!

Oh my goodness where do I even begin? I've been dreaming of a Morocco trip for as long as I can remember. I did a full-on 7-month preparation and research before our trip just to make sure I got everything right. One of the things that I learned from all those research is how important it is to look for the right Riad to stay in Marrakech. This is because your Riad is basically your sanctuary, your haven, your respite from all the excitement and chaos around Marrakech. Your Riad can definitely "make or break" your Marrakech experience because it's like your home and if you don't like your home, well then--where does that leave you. So I started researching on the top most chic Riads in Marrakech, and that led us to Dar Darma. We were drawn to Dar Darma because of the overall aesthetic of the Riad. It was completely different form everything else that we had seen. Once we decided to stay here, all communications via Email was great and attentive. And by the time we got picked-up from the airport, and as we entered the riad, we were immediately blown away by how beautiful the Riad is. And although the looks of the place was enough to give them a good review, what really makes them stand out is the customer service experience that we had during our 4 day stay. The team, was an A-team. Each person, especially the managers, were so attentive to each guest's needs. And even if it is not their job or core competency, they were still so happy to help you in any way. My husband and I travel all over the world, and in Morocco we stayed at a total of 6 different places, and Dar Darma's customer service is on top of our very best of the best list. Another delightful thing about Dar Darma is the quality of food. The breakfasts and dinners were simply delicious and always hearty. Food is authentic, home-cooked meals. And in Morocco, the best meals are the home-cooked ones. We stayed in Morocco for 10 days all over the country, and Dar Darma's food, was the best out of everywhere we went. Maria, the head chef, is simply the best. My husband had a cooking lesson with her as well, and that was a great memory to have. Finally, one of the things we also appreciated is the fact that Dar Darma works with the best people as well. We booked for a guided tour, and the person they booked for us (Mustapha) was absolutely one of the kindest, most wonderful person we've toured with. And also, the team was well-connected with the best products in Marrakech, off the radar stuff, that we were able to order the best Honey, Saffron, etc. at best deals. They just simply know their stuff. One thing you should know and not fault Dar Darma on, is that Riads are historical houses/properties. It will have its own kinks and konks and I believe you have to isolate that from writing a good review because Riads are simply not hotels. As long as you can get pass that, and as long as you know what you are actually booking, then you'll have a wonderful time. I cannot express how much we loved our stay at Dar Darma, We were so touched by their customer service that we left them a personal note and some gifts from our country. We've never done that in any place that we have stayed at before. And that is a true testament to this amazing team. Special mention goes out to Maria and Hicham. You guys are amazing.
