We booked this riad through British Airways as a package and I have to say the experience was excellent . Dont be put off with the first impression as this riad is tucked in a narrow street but its very central and an excellent location to get to the square (Medina) and the souks by foot just 10-15 minutes walk...

The Riad is lovely and very well done. The staff are very kind and attentive. Breakfast was superb, the location was good since it was off of the main area where the souks and Djemma al Fna are but close enough that you could be there in 10-20 mins walk. You definitely feel like you are living in a local...

Morocco can be a little...overdecorated. So it was very nice to come back here at the end of the day and rest my eyes on white walls and simple furniture. Not that the place feels basic--everything's very well kept and comfortable. But the style is the perfect antidote to a long day of sightseeing. And the overall restoration sensibility is...

We stayed at Baraka for 3 nights. Note that if you stay 3 nights or more you get a free pick up from the airport and walked to the door of the Riad. I would definately recommend this as I would not have fancied trying to find this in the dark as we didn't land until 7.30pm. The Riad was...

First up, I'd booked to stay at Riad Al Jazira, which is more pricey and has a pool. We got transferred to this riad after an apparent over-booking. Transfer from the airport: easy to find, friendly and probably a good thing, wouldn't have wanted to try and navigate the medina straight away. Only annoyance was a young lad who carried...

We arrived to this house crossing the internal streets of the Medina, full of people, merchandise and noise. After many corners and some dark passages, a door to an hidden patio. The house was beutiful, well restored in its old structures, a veritable example of old moroccan way of life. Nice rooms and livings, traditional furnitures. A wonderful terrace, former...

Just returned from a 6 days trip to Marrakech and Fes. About the Riad I can only make positive comments. Ok, my room was small, but I booked a single room so I should only expect a singel room. But the riad was extremely well renovated, a lot of light, very clean, breackfast was great, all staff was very helpful...

All was great and a sign of a real hospitality. Khaled began with a green tea and explained us what we'll need in the riad, but also in the city-life of Marrakech. Other people were always here for a good advice. Even the breakfast was very great and generous. We would like to thank all thes people who made us...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Do you know the real meaning of "baraka?" It is "benefit!" A name which fits this remarkable building like a glove. Reknowned for its fine architectural detail, the "pièce de résistance" of this beautiful building is the lounge, adorned with an ornately painted ceiling, an ideal place for a candlelit dinner! This medium-sized riad comprises 5 bedrooms surrrounding a central courtyard with fountain. A split-level roof-terrace provides a magnificient view of the gardens of Dar El Bacha, the ancient palace of Glaouiet and the celebrated minaret of the Katoubi mosque. To complete your relaxation, a hammam and choice of massages are available. If this house is not enough to delight, then Dar Karam awaits to further seduce you with the charms of Moroccan hospitality. To provide more spacious accommodation the two houses may be booked as one. This riad, restored in respectful keeping with its surroundings, is a model of sobriety and elegance. Five charming bedrooms, traditionally furnished, once again open onto the central courtyard with fountain. Another beautiful lounge with a magnificient traditionally painted ceiling positively calls for dinner by candlelight!
