The Monceau was chosen and booked by my daughter (on my CC, naturally) and so I was ever so slightly trepidatious. I needn't have worried - she is now clearly a proper grown-up and exhibiting excellent taste! An intimate, calm, beautifully presented oasis, just seconds from the Jemaa yet you hardly hear a thing, and even that Marrakech fragrance seems... More

A safehaven and sanctuary where you can retreat and recover after a hectic day filled with noises, bargaining, cultural visits and impressions and people people people and more people - fun interesting and of course exhausting.... You will meet a very friendly staff, pleasant interior and quiet.... Just two minutes from the main square... Very nice restaurant. Romantic escapes or... More

We spent two nights at Le Riad Monceau in January 2016. Right from the turn into the almost hidden alleyway leading to the front door this boutique hotel feels special! The pictures do it justice, it is impeccebly decorated throughout with an authentic Morrocan feel, yet with classy and numerous nice touches such as the artwork or the little seating... More

The location was ideal, just off the corner of Jamal El Fna. Every day, the staff were so friendly, helpful and smiley. They didn't mind our lack of french. The receptionists were always helpful and told us good places to go, and made sure we had had a good day each day. We had rose petals and chocolates on our... More

We were welcomed very warmly by the very nice and helpful staff. The riad is absolutely beautiful. It's only a 2 minute walk from the main square, but a gem of tranquility and relaxation. Very nice rooms and a cosy courtyard make this a great place to stay!

The Riad location is perfect for Marrakech, you cannot beat it. Within a minute walking from Jamal El Fna, you are inside your room at Riad Monceau. It is very, very quiet inside. I was worried when I booked as I wanted to be close to everything but thought the noise from outside would be too loud. You cannot hear... More

Stayed at this amazing Riad during our visit to Morocco and really loved it. The walk leading up to the entrance of the Riad frightening since it is difficult what one is to expect at the end of the long, narrow and even dingy alley. However, our fears were allayed as we entered this amazing Riad (an old house from... More

We had the most fab time taking a cookery class here. Rachis a was great fun and really made it a special time for us. My Mum at 81 can get a bit distracted but Rachida kept her entertained all the way through and her kitchen assistance was the best!! What was supposed to be 4 hours ended up in... More

Spent 3 nights. Location was great about 2 minutes walk to main square. The staff was very nice and there was always someone who spoke English. The room we had was very nice on the 2nd floor. Shower is a bath tub with a movable shower head. 1.5 days wifi didn't work and there is no wifi in the rooms... More

From the start to the end fantastic experience We booked a transfer direct with the hotel. The driver was at the airport on our arrival and took us to the old square to be met by hotel staff. At the hotel we had a personal welcome from the reception that lead us to a table with refreshments as we filled in... More
