The Riad was lovely but in the middle of what seemed a run down residential area. We had a lot of trouble with childre (2/3 year old) begging for money and throwing stones at us when they didn't get it! Riad itself is lovely and the pictures are absutely what it looks like. Excellent host/ owner. The location and run... More

Thanks for your positive feedback on Riad Dar Zaman and our staff! Our team work hard to provide top service and a safe, welcoming environment for all our guests. We’re sorry you weren’t enamoured with the medina - the majority of discerning travellers find a stay in the medieval medina a fascinating insight into a bygone era – it’s a... More

We loved our visit to Marrakech, but I have to say, most of the things we loved were largely attributable to our stay at Dar Zaman. The riad is well located in the old town, a short walk from the main square and the souks. It is small but beautiful and a perfectly relaxing oasis from the craziness of Marrakech.... More

To stay in a city as exotic as the old Marrakech, you would wish for clean, calm, quiet and elegant accomodation. Riad Dar Zaman provides all this, but exceeds your expectations by miles. Hassan gave help and advice, and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. The meal that we had on our first night, cooked by the wonderful housekeeper,... More

We were very surprised in finding such a charming and lovely place after zigzaging around the narow streets of the Marrakech Medina when we arrived here. The location is the best, in the heart of this Medieval Town. The place was restored by Peter, the owner, some 4 years ago, living the elegance and the feel of this special "Traditional... More

Me and my wife stayed three nights, this Riad was great. Clean, accommodating, helpful. All the staff made us feel as if it was our own home. I have to extend my sincere thanks to Hassan who was brilliant, such a brilliant host. Really friendly and helpful, made us feel comfortable and was giving us great tips and places to... More

From the very warm welcome at the Airport by our 2 lovely locals to the departure at the airport by the same 2 who had became our private chauffeurs throughout our short stay, everthing inbetween was the most organised, friendly, outstanding hospitality I have ever experienced and coming from a world wide traveller of 26 yrs through work, I am... Our trip to Marrakech was made so much better by the wonderful calm and tranquility offered by Peter and his team at Dar Zaman. 9 of us enjoyed the recently refurbished riad which offered comfort and style to the highest level. The lovely roof top terrace was the focal point both day and night for the group of us to... More

Just come back from spending 3 nights at Dar Zaman with eight girlfriends as part of an on going celebration of our dear friends 50th - who organised the whole trip (we took over the whole riad) and had a fantastic time. Peter - the owner of the riad - could not have been more helpful organising taxi's, trips and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an excellent visit. Peter was really helpful and Hassan and Malika looked after us really well. The riad is a perfect blend of feeling that we were in the heart of Marrakech, beautiful spaces to sit inside and out on the sun terrace, with very welcome air conditioning in the bedrooms. Marrakech... More

To celebrate a combination of birthdays, anniversaries and Valentines Day, we headed off last-minute to Marrakech, Morocco. Peter was a wonderful host, extremely helpful by email beforehand and helped arrange our stay at short-notice. Staff were friendly, invaluable for tourist navigation and local tips, and took great care from arrival at airport to saying goodbye. We enjoyed intimate dinners by... More
