We had a lovely stay at this riad. Latifa welcomed us and was very helpful giving us tips and handing over maps and a even a phone(!) which was really helpful! The room we stayed in was very nice, and they were very accommodating to our needs. The breakfast was also good, and on the day of our flight wherein... More

From the moment we stepped into the Riad, we felt like we'd found Eden. Latifa and Jacqueline made us feel so welcome, and provided us with mint tea and pastries as they went through the sights we should see and gave us general advice on getting around. Along with a very good map, we were provided with a phone to... More

I was greeted very warmly by Latifa, whose English and French are both spoken at native levels. She was very patient with me as I had to change my arrival time on several occasions. Tea and desserts upon check-in were top notch. The riad itself is traditional-style, but extremely clean, up-to-date in its construction and details. The bougainvillea-filled courtyard is... More

What a wonderful place to stay and end our tour of Morocco! We arrived late and were greeted by the house manager. Then given the keys and we had the place to ourselves.. Wow! This place is the real deal, an authentically restored riad in the old medina. With an amazing roof terrace. Our room was the 'hibiscus' and was... More

Beautifully decorated small, boutique-style riad with only three rooms. Lots of birds thanks to plantation in the inner courtyard. Very homely feeling with kind staff. Great breakfast and (optional) dinner. Good to take into account that the riad is located in the north of the medina, which is relatively quiet and easy to access, but about a 15-20 minute walk... The room, service, location, and road as a whole were exceptional in every way. Well appointed and tastefully decorated in traditional Moroccan fashion, Riad Samsara is a true gem and a beautiful refuge in an unspoiled section of the old city.

Our last stop of an 11 day Moroccan adventure that started from Casablanca. Riad Samsara is our oasis in the mids of the busy Tarzout Medina. We booked all its 3 rooms; like Airbnb booking for us as we took possession of this riad for 5 days. Accommodation was superb, staff catered to our needs; Latifa our hostess even brought... More

Pros: gorgeous space with a beautiful terrace where breakfast is served. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the riad is very peaceful once inside. They also serve complimentary pots of delicious mint tea. It is about a 35 minute walk to the main square and it is easy to get lost. We did not have dinner at the Riad... More

Thank you for your feedback and it is nice to hear you had a pleasant stay. Regarding the location, it is common that it is not easy to walk around the old city without taking a few wrong turns, it is part of the general structure to keep the authenticity and traditional aspect ( narrow streets, gates, small passages...) but... The room we had was lovely, large, clean and with a comfortable bed. A huge marble bath in the ensuite was an added bonus. On arrival we were given mint tea and cakes. We spent 3 nights in this oasis of calm away from the crazy streets of Marrakech. The whole place is beautiful, really well restored riad, with great taste. We were well looked after by Latifa who made everything seem so effortless. My only regret is that we didn't eat dinner here which I've heard is fabulous. I would come back... More
