The hotel seemed to be ok when we arrived, staff were setting up for a party + we were told no dinner for us (we had intended to eat out anyway). Taken to a large room on the third floor, the stairway was shabby + on the roof terrace were two stained loungers with dirty towels. Behind the trellis screen... More

Hi we had evening meals at the Lotus Privelege as the package we were sold could not accommodate them so we had to walk 1/2 mile to the Riad Lotus Privilege where after having the same set menu 2 nights in a row (which was nice but you can only have so much of a good thing) we were after... More

We booked a cooking course for 50Euros per person. We were told to get a tour of the market to buy our ingredients and where we would learn a lot about the Moroccan kitchen. Hence, we were interested. Unfortunately we ended up simply cutting vegetables. We never saw the market or the kitchen. Further, when we were asked to spice... More

Worst ever treatment. Booked through our tour operator who descried it as a fantastic experience that would consist of a hammam, followed by a clay body wrap and then a massage. The treatment to last 2 hours in total. Picked up by taxi and taken to a back street where we were ushered out into an alley and directed to... More

We booked the sister riad, Lotus Perle but was taken to Lotus Privilege by a wonderful staff named Mohammad. We were awed by the courtyard and the location is waaay better. It's within 10 minutes walk to Jamaa El Fnaa square but we usually took longer as there are lots of shops on the way to the square. We were... More

Absolute rip off for the Hammam. Our tour operator booked this for us so we were expecting a top notch experience. From the courtyard, everything looks quite nice, but the nightmare started when were taken in for our treatment. We paid around 600dhs for 45 min hammam and 1 hour massage. The spa facilities were poorly thought out and in... More

I didn't stay at the hotel, I only reviewing the spa facilities. I booked a luxury spa which consisted of a 2 hour body scrub and massage through Expedia for the Les Bains de Marrakech. Long story short, the 3rd party tour company didn't book me at my chosen spa but at a dodgy looking spa in the city. The... More

A perfect oasis. Huge suites, clean and airy. Friendly, helpful and discreet staff. Delicious breakfasts underneath an orange tree. All within the old walled city. Each suite has it's own character and the whole riad is like an art gallery with genuine original artefacts.

My husband and I visited in early June 2015. Originally we have booked to a sister riad Lotus Perle but were taken directly to Lotus Privilege. Absolutely amazing Riad, very quiet, tasteful, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. Our room was amazing on the terrace with outdoor seating. The riad was... More

Food was average and overpriced and service slow. Error was made on the bill and the staff chased us down the alley way to try and get more cash. Very aggressive. Maybe coincidence but the one and only time I used my debit card in Morocco was here and just checked bank to find fraud transactions every day since......
