back yesterday from a week in this Riad, wonderful! we booked whole place (the one with the pool) The pool goes with out saying, of course it was very hot and the pool was a great thing to have to dip into and cool off, the poo area is very spacious also, for sitting eating drinking, many umbrellas for the sun also, on hand, some need a wee bit fixing but they all work, kitchen on the roof terrace great asset, all our duty free booze in fridge, drinks late in the day/roof terrace, it was wonderful! Ali, was on hand to go buy our water and tonic, for the gin, he prepared our lovely breakfast every day, fresh squeezed orange juice, bread, jams, fruit, team and coffee, really lovely , he also went out to buyt local crepes some days for us. The cleaning ladies were superb, rooms/ensuite bathrooms cleaned daily very well, towels changed every two days, house is also very clean. The owner comes every morning to check all is ok, its best to speak french or english though to converse with her, Ali, speaks great english, the lady that help in the riad, speak french and not a lot of english , but super helpful, she actually took me to the local market, that I hadnt seen before, to buy a Tagine, and spices, she looked after me local prices, they also have a link to a great driver, Abdul, very nice decent man, we felt at home with him. All in all, we had a fabulous week, one extra thing that would be lovely on the rof terrace, would be potted plants, that smell, of the area, jasmine, etc,

I stayed a week on the Maison side which was so charming. It has everything you need (air con, good bed, WiFi) in a beautiful tiled room and at a reasonable price, plus delicious breakfasts and a small pool that was perfect midday. The proprietress, Yolande, is terrific, checking in every morning to see if you have questions or need help. And I was relieved to have an airport pickup due to confusing Médina streets. The Riad is also very close to the central Place and other sights.

I stayed here with 7 of my girlfriends, we booked the whole place. The rooms were lovely, the plunge pool and bar area on the roof were well used. Breakfast on the roof terrace every morning was included and very nice it was too. Yolande was extremely helpful, arranging taxis from the airport along with providing us with some shopping incl local wine which was nice. We even arranged a meal in for one of our nights stay of traditional food which was delightful. Great location in the old town with easy access to all the Soukes.

We stayed here in April 2019 as a family of 4, my children are 7 and 10. Our taxi struggled to find it but he called the owner and she gave him directions and met us in a square and helped with our bags. We were welcomed into a beautiful Riad and showed to our room. The owner Yolande was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. At times my children found central Marrakech a bit too hectic, but whenever we returned to Maison Do we always found it calm, quiet and relaxing. The room was a good size for a family and our children had 2 individual beds. My wife and I found the double bed very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with freshly squeezed orange juice, bread and a different egg-based pancake, muffin etc every day. Yolande was more than happy for us to leave our bags in the property on the last day until the afternoon and booked us a taxi. She returned to meet us and say goodbye at the taxi. A fabulous experience at an excellent price. Tips: It's worth getting Yolande to book you a taxi to/from the airport. Most couldn't find Maison Do and were all much more expensive. The Riad is in the middle of the central area of the medina, down some side streets. We did find these intimidating at times. Nothing serious but just be cautious. There are 2 Riads here and we strayed at Masion Do which didn't have a pool on the roof. The roof terrace was lovely though with loungers and shade.

We have just spent a week at Dar Maison Do and have had a wonderful experience. We booked the Dar its entirety for our family and found it to be of great value as well as having the rooftop pool, which was a delight given the temperatures in Marrakech at this time of year. It is in a great location in the medina and just a few minutes walk from the main square and all the souks. We had a simple but delicious breakfast each day and the rooms were clean, comfortable and air conditioned. But the real stand out of our stay was the hospitality. Both Yolande and Ali are exceptionally friendly and generous hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, not even getting up before 3am to offer us a cup of tea and brioche then to help us with our bags to the taxi to catch our indecently early flight home. They also washed and ironed for us at no extra cost; organised all tours and activities we were interested in, and all the drivers we had were equally helpful and friendly. All spoke some English and excellent French. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and we will certainly be back.
