An oasis in the hustle and bustle of the Medina. We stayed in Riad Safa for our belated honeymoon, it has the most beautiful decor with lots of areas to relax and read. Before we left Ireland we had received a lovely email greeting us the warmth of the initial welcome continued throughout our stay. We eat a sumptuous breakfast... More

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Riad Safa during our time in Marrakech. Glad we got a driver to bring us to the Riad (from the airport) because I don't think we would have found it on our own but once we were there, it was well worth it. The Riad is sun-lit and well decorated with... More

I travelled to Riad Safa with four friends for a long weekend to celebrate my hen night. We are in our late 30s and wanted a classy venue and a room each. This riad was the perfect choice. It is absolutely beautiful and the staff were amazing - everything about it exceeded our expectations. We arrived on Friday and were... More

This was our first trip back to Riad Safa since new management took over a few years ago. It is still a fantastic Riad for the price. It is chic, comfortable and clean. Staff are as attentive as ever. Food was great the night we ate dinner their. We love it and it might be another couple of years -... More

A lovely hotel in the middle of Marrakech, utterly gorgeous, with very nice personnel Breakfast is fabulous and if you are lucky enough to arrange for an evening meal, (only to order) you will never want to leave again.

Riad Safa is beautiful, and the staff could not have better! My only set back with this riad was the location. We were three girlfriends traveling, and the Riad is in a residential neighborhood, and to get to it you need to walk through a few back alleys. As girls, during the day it was fine, it was more after... More

This Riad is charming and authentic, clean and fresh and comfortable and relaxing. It is beautifully kept and very conveniently located for all the souks and attractions of the Medina, especially close to the Museum of Photography and the Islamic School. We received a lovely welcome of mint tea and cinnamon biscuits and we dined in the Riad on our... More

A nice place with good service and nice staff. It's located close to the souks, restaurtants and the Square. The breakfast is good and served at the terrace. The Riad has serveral corners where you can sit down and relax. When it's cold the staff will immediate turn on the heater. The room was quite small for three people and... More

Excellent Riad. Very clean, breakfast fantastic and great staff. Location is difficult to find at first but so is everywhere. Given a really helpful introduction to the area when we arrived that was a life saver the first night. I also reccomend the airport transfer as it is is difficult to find the riad

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome at Riad Safa, a true haven of peace in the exciting Medina of Marrakesh.Riad Safa is located in one of the last authentic parts of the old city (medina), with some of the major cultural institutions just around the corner, and ten minutes by foot from the famous Jemaa el Fna square.Safa means serenity or pureness in Arabic, and it is our aim to provide you with a feeling of pure wellness during the longer or shorter time you stay with us. The atmosphere therefore, is very quiet. Even at the moments that the Imam of the neighbouring Mosque spreads his prayers over us; then you feel the mistery of the East and the presence of the languorous city.We speak English, French and Dutch and we love to help with everything you would want to be assisted with; whether it is a transfer from or to the airport, the booking of an excursion, or to have you accompanied safely home through the myriad of narrow alleys by our helpfull staff, after a 1001-night dinner in the medina. We want you to feel comfortable, and at home with us.Affordable luxury, that is what we want to offer you.Marrakesh is a bustling and buzzy city, so it is nice to know that after a tiring day of shopping in the souks (covered markets) or a visit to one of the palaces, you can immerse yourself in the lovely quiet of our Riad, and relax in one of the intimate "salons" or, during spring and summer, cool down at the small rooftop pool with a dewy glass. At night we offer a delicious "table d'hotes" in a romantic setting on the roofterrace, or indoors, just as you prefer.In-house hammam & wellness • we have a small hammam on the rooftopterrace, which you can book• on demand we can arrange for scrubs, massage, facials, pedicure and manicure. ... more   less
