This is my second time staying at Riad Palais Sebban and could not complain. It's a beautiful and gorgeous riad in the heart of the old town where the people of Marrakech live, away from large tourist hotels. It's located in the back streets of the old town but please don't let this put you off as its completely safe...

The Palais Sebban is accessed down a maze of twisting alleyways....exactly the same way all Riads in Marrakech are. From the minute we stepped through the door into the beautifully renovated cluster of five separate houses around a magnificent original courtyard we were looked after exceptionally well. Our room was spacious, well appointed and cleaned daily to a high standard....

I have no idea why Palais Sebban is advertised as a 4 star establishment.  3 stars, at best. Not worth the money. Do not recommend to anyone. Low cleanliness standards, problems with hot water, heating, insects, smell, noise and a huge problem with the management's attitude. Yes, the place has a unique, authentic feel and can look pretty on photographs....

Couldn't fault this jewel of a hotel inside the Medina of magical Marrakech. A free upgrade to a suite as soon as they heard it was my birthday, 26/11. Luxury accommodation, in the true tradition. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, nor helpful. Breakfast was a feast each morning, plenty of variety and yummy crepes or omelettes freshly cooked...

My husband, I and our 3 sons stayed here in August 2012. The Riad is stunning, filled with traditional Morroccan ornaments and fixtures and intricate wall, floor and ceiling tiling. The colours are a feast on the eyes and you can sit in many different ares and on different terraces to take them in. The plunge pool is pretty and...

I visited Marrakech with my boyfriend and we stayed in the Riad Palais Sebban for 4 nights. We e-mailed the riad a few days before our trip to request an airport transfer, however did not receive a reply. The day before travelling we called and they confirmed they had received our e-mail but could not trace our booking and had...

Having visited Palais Sebban for the 2nd time in October. After visiting with my mom in October 2011 we'd had such a fantastic time and decided to return. The Riad can arrange a private transfer from the airport, which I would recommend especially if you are arriving at night in the dark, but this year we were quoted one price...

I visited Marrakesh for the first time at the beginning of November with my friend for a girly few days chill and the Palais was exactly the type of stay we had in our mind. It is a beautiful traditional Riad filled with antiques, mosaics and tranquil spaces. So serene and peaceful - everywhere you turned there was a photo...

Last minute decision to holiday in Marrakech, very apprehensive regarding accommodation and service, both were superb. We were there for just 4 days but would be happy to stay longer. Great location and very comfortable Riad with great (but limited) food.

I have to be honest, Marrakesh wasn't for me. I won't let that detract from this lovely Riad and the wonderful staff who work there. If you want to sit round a pool this isn't the hotel for you in my opinion. However, if you want to visit old town and do the Souks this is the best place. The...
