We loved our 2 days at Riad Dar Attajmil. We'd just finished a 2 week mini group tour of Morocco, and were very much looking forward to a peaceful relaxing time in Marrakech before our flight home. And it was exactly that - peaceful, quiet and very relaxing! We also partook in a cooking class with the lovely and entertaining...

After a crazy and hot tour of Marrakech Suk and Medina, we finally end up in hidden paradise of Dar Attajmil. We had a great relaxing massage with the argan oil produced in their farm and then....the best dinner ever in the silent terrace of the riad: delicate maroccan food with jasmin scent all over. One of our best memory...

Firstly, when in Marrakech you’re obviously going to stay in a Riad. The second part of picking which Riad is harder – there are so many options! We decided to go with Dar Attajmil and are so glad we did. A small and cosy Riad of just four guestrooms, it’s a lovely place to stay whilst exploring Marrakech. We stayed...

Dar Attajmil is comfortable and well located. It's the perfect place to experience Marrakech. To say that the staff is nice and accommodating is a huge understatement. Hassan, Ibrahim, and the rest of the team do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. From preparing exquisite meals to introducing you to local shopkeepers (so they give you fair prices)...

Chukran to all of you you made my stay feel at your hotel like a princess. The very friendly staff, the beautiful riad, the very good cuisine for Fatma and Fatima, the nice decoration, just everything. I enjoyed every minute at your riad and have a good souvenir of my stay. Still dreaming of it with all the colors. I...

We spent a wonderful couple of days in Marrakech thanks to kindness and effectiveness of the staff of Dar Attajmil and we'll come again as soon as possible. The position is perfect to visit Medina but also to go around in the new city if you are tired of the little and crowded streets of the centre

Beautiful Riad, courtyard is like a garden with some beautiful furniture from local shops. Lucretzia, Hassan, and Ibrahim go above and beyond to help with recommendations such as restaurants and shops. It's a busy riad so from our room, we can hear the bells, chatting, and movement early in the morning. It could be difficult to sleep through that past...

We stayed 3 days in the Nomads room and ivory thing has been outstanding. The location is perfect, central but very quiet. The riad itself is lovely. And the staff is very attentive and helpful. All for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I loved this cozy, yet sophisticated riad. Everything was exquisite -- most especially the perfect table settings and delicious feast served to me on the glorious rooftop terrace. The food was unbelievable and extremely abundant. French and Moroccan infused breakfasts; organics fruit and perfect pastries. The staff met my every need. I only wish I could take up residence there.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming Riad right in the heart of old Marrakech. 4 rooms only and a large garden terrace with hammam. Excellent location, central, safe and easy access. Cosy feel and special mentions for the way it's cared for and the surprising cuisine. Last, but not least, the excellent price for what it has to offer. The riad offers an interesting cooking experience with its chef, with shopping in the old food market of Bab Doukkala. ... more   less

“The room was gorgeous - the only criticism which I find hard to write because I don t want to say anything negative as it was overall a lovely stay, was that the beds for me were too hard, but that is a personal opinion.”

“All of the rooms are beautiful.. yet if I had to make a choice.. my favourite would have to be the 'Nomad' room.. only because it was the first room that I had sixteen years ago.”

“A fabulous riad overall - the staff are wonderful warm welcoming and helpful. My two tips are watch the added extras to your bill. Tthey are just not great and being totally transparent - I had no idea they added 3% for paying by card for example. The price for dinner did not include drinks either - which is fine if they tell you in advance, less so if they forget. My second tip is that if you need quiet ask for a room facing in to the courtyard. I overlooked the alley below which was surprisingly busy - it didn't stop me getting a wonderful nights sleep but for those who are lighter sleepers, a different room maybe better. Otherwise it's a fabulous place at a great location with the warmest staff.”
