Charming traditional riad in the heart of old Marrakech. 4 rooms only and a large garden terrace with hammam. Excellent location: central, safe and easy access. Cosy feel and special mentions for the way it's cared for and the surprising cuisine. Last, but not least, the excellent price for what it has to offer. The riad offers an interesting cooking experience with its chef, with shopping in the old food market of Bab Doukkala.

As a Moroccan and food professional I am very snobby about my Moroccan meals! The breakfast is more then excellent. But its not only the food and taste, its the environment, the friendly and discreet staff. And the joy you feel in the Riad. Its a place with a beating heart. Thank you!

We loved everything about Dar Attajmil! The staff took so good care of us during our six days in Marrakech. Food was outstanding so we ended up eating most of our meals at the lovely roof top terrass, where you can enjoy the bussy city life from above! Clean and beautifully decorated rooms, outstanding service. Would love to go back! The cooking class they arrange are both fun and inspiring.

What a fabulous holiday we had staying here. A beautiful environment with staff who made us feel we were staying at home. The location is ideal as it is so easy to get to the main places to visit without getting lost. Breakfast was delicious as was dinner when we had it. We will be back!

Booked the hotel online, based on their reviews and other guests comments. All pre-arranged requests, such as airport pick up were honoured and on time. The welcome and check in processes were really smooth. The room was very clean, quiet and spacious with not only a double bed but also a double day bed too. There was both a ceiling fan and air con. There was a free bottle of water and fruit in the room on check in. The room had a safe and a shower. Towels were lovely and soft and fluffy. The hotel's location was excellent and meant that pretty much everything was in easy walking distance and if required, not far from a taxi stop. It made orientation really straightforward and despite the narrow alleys it was not to hard to find the way back and fore even at night. Also it meant if the souks and medina got a bit much it was easy enough to walk back to the hotel for lunch or a break ( nap!) or sit on the upstairs terrace and get tea. The inclusive breakfast is very generous and sets you up for the day, especially when served on the upstairs terrace. The quality of the food was great and if it was a longer stay would def had lunch or dinner there. The staff were super helpful and really lovely. Specific, examples would be the young man who offered to walk to the shop to get change for large currency notes, the gentleman that brought the safe downstairs to check for a missing house key and the room cleaner that put my book on one side just in case I wanted it for the journey home. I read a lot about the owner's hospitality online and even though she was on her own holiday her friend Claudia did an ample job of covering for her. Happy to highly recommend this hotel based on my experiences and I hope you have an equally great stay.

My wife Lisa and our one-year old son spent 4 nights at Dar Snane, a mini-riad operated as an extension of Dar Attajmil. We had a truly fabulous time. Claudia took really great care of us, and Meryem (our chef and housekeeper) did an excellent job taking care of our needs-- her dinners are not to be missed!!! Also, our son had such a wonderful time with the team here-- by the end of our stay he had become fast friends with Meryem, Claudia, Fatima, Ibrahim and everyone there. We had such a relaxing holiday on what was our first visit to Morocco, and thanks to the team at Dar Attajmil, we look forward to our next visit!
