Charming traditional riad in the heart of old Marrakech. 4 rooms only and a large garden terrace with hammam. Excellent location: central, safe and easy access. Cosy feel and special mentions for the way it's cared for and the surprising cuisine. Last, but not least, the excellent price for what it has to offer. The riad offers an interesting cooking experience with its chef, with shopping in the old food market of Bab Doukkala.

Riad has been the perfect base to explore. We were made to feel so welcome and the staff genuinely cared about our time with them, offering a multitude of recommendations for eating out and visiting the local attractions. Celebrating our wedding anniversary, we really appreciated all the special touches and the fabulous, romantic meal on the roof terrace on our first night. We'd 100% recommend this Riad as THE place to stay.

Staff very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Always eager to help. Breakfast was great. The reason I am giving a 4 star is not because their fault but because of the unesco stuff with the room being very small and cramp and the air of the Medina or the whole city is bad from all the moped, car, fume and cigarette smoke. We feel like being run over by all the mopeds and no clean air to breath. So if you don’t like noise or has asthma, stay away.

We loved everything about Dar Attajmil! The staff took great care of us during our stay in Marrakech making us feel better than at home. Exceptional food is served on the charming roof terrace, where you can also spend relaxing moments sipping mint tea and enjoying the city from above! Clean and well furnished rooms down to the smallest details. The cooking class will remain an unforgettable moment of the holiday. We thank Ibrahim, Aziz and Fatimah for making our holiday special. We wish we were still there.

The best hotel in the medina Aziz is amazing, kind, polite, generous and very professional The breakfast is very good The only thing is that it’s pretty noisy because you are in the médina so you can hear the call for prayer, get ready for that

A small and beautiful riadh very centrally located in the Marrakech medina. It is more old and beautiful then fancy. The bathroom is modelled in clay and feels like your private hammam. We had delicious 3-course dinners every night on the roof terrace. Fatima, a great woman and skilled chef, was responsible in the kitchen.

We had two wonderful nights at the Riad. We were actually the very first customers after a long renovation. Please go and stay there. Everybody is so friendly and helpful. Especially Aziz was a heartful assistant with great ideas and recommendations for Marrakesh. We really felt like home. Beds were huge and were made up for us every day. Rooms and bathrooms absolutely clean. The decoration is delicate and the patio with the banana tree wonderful. We had our huge breakfast on the roof which is also decorated with a great taste. We did had a cooking class at the kitchen of the Riad with lovely Fatima, which we definitely recommend (see the extra review about it). Thank you so much, we would love to come back.

My family and I loved our stay at Dar Attajmil in September 2023. There is a reason this place is rated Exceptional. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, kind, generous, and thoughtful. And the accommodations were comfortable, well appointed, clean, and inviting. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and Ibrahim made dinner reservations for us to dine at Le Tobsil. He also connected me with a rug shop down the road. The staff even brought me flowers! The hammam was relaxing and every meal we ate was delicious. Many thanks to Fatima, Fadima, Aziz, and Ibrahim for making our stay truly wonderful.

Elegant and refined guest house in great position inside Marrakech's medina. Staff is warm and always available. Room was clean, maybe a bit small, but very comfortable. And breakfast quite complete. Recommended!

Riad Dar Attajmil is like a piece of heaven right in the center of bustling Marrakech. The decor is warm and inviting and the peaceful ambience is apparent as soon as you enter through the discreet front door. There are only four rooms available to stay in but that is what makes this Riad so personal and special. The location is ideal for visiting all the interesting places on foot but taxis, tuktuks and horse carriages are only a few minutes walk away in the nearby main Jenna Al-Fna square. The staff are more than helpful….very approachable and friendly but not pushy or overwhelming. The food was fresh and delicious and plentiful. We stayed in a number of places including a 4 star hotel but this was the best of the bunch!
